Yes pretty sure you are right. I said when we bought him he would not play more than 20 games for us in a season as he is mostly injured. Unfortunately i would have preferred to be wrong as he did offer us something different. Shame we could have done with him for the run in.

This game can probably be classed as the best of the rest as Dundee utd, Motherwell and Hibs fight it out for the third position. Motherwell haven't really hit the same heights as they did before the turn of the year and the tragic loss of Phil o"Donnel. Dundee Utd played brilliantly in the CIS cup final against Rangers last week and were only minutes away from winning before a lethal mistake from Mark Kerr threw Rangers a lifeline with United losing out on a penalty shoot-out. If United play anything like last week they should make the best of their home advantage. United win. Aberdeen have been on a free-fall the last few weeks and will be struggling to get in on a top six place.From what seemed to a good season for them suddenly went pear shaped. Knocking Celtic out of the Scottish cup could offer them a platform to bounce back. St Mirren have given some gutsy performances this season but with the reduction of points from Gretna their season is as good as finished. nothing to lose and nothing to gain. Aberdeen still have things to play for and should be more hungry. Aberdeen win. Hearts v Falkirk is the topper in the fight for the last place in the top six. Falkirk are holding all the aces at the moment but there are only three points between them ,Hearts and Aberdeen and who would not expect Hearts to make a final sprint. I expect Hearts to win this one but Falkirk will stay top on goal difference, although that will also be minimal. Hearts win. Kilmarnock v Inverness CT has again lost any real interest with the demise of Gretna and Killie have only really pride to play for. Caley could still fight to top the bottom six but in reallity these two teams can start to look to putting things in place for next season. I can see this ending in a draw. Draw. Rangers v Hibernian is surely the top game this weekend and why setanta have chosen to show Gretna v Celtic beats me. Surely a case of pure inflexibility in programming. This is one of the most important games we will get in the run in to the title. As i believe that the old firm will roughly share the points in the head to heads the games against the sub-top teams will become more important.Barry Ferguson will return from injury putting off an operation on his ankle to the summer months. Whether you like him or not he certainly has a great Rangers heart. I will surprise everybody and say i am glad he is back as i don't think this is the game to experiment. Hibs beat us last time round at Ibrox but we have stepped up a notch since then and we will hopefully return to form for this one. I can't go against Rangers as it is a must win game for us. Rangers win. Gretna v Celtic. can't really say much about this game as i think it is a non-event and only good for celtic to take advantage and build up their goal difference but we live in hope. Everyone should be open to positive criticism which can help the team get better but unfortunately negative criticism is more general and helps no-one really. Calling players wankers won't give them the confidence to come on to a game it will in fact probably totally drain all their confidence. Singing their name's may have a more positive affect. Personally i was totally livid at the Barcelona away game. A game we had nothing to lose after we went a goal down and still we stayed in a tortoise shell defence. I do not pay 400 pound for a season ticket but as far as i would love to see great football my main hope for this season is stopping Celtic in their tracks and winning the league at whatever cost. I really don't think we have the players to be much more inventive but no matter what your view is i think everyone has to applaud the never say die attitude of all our players this year. for that i thank them.

As the title says Ronald has decided to call it a day. He has just returned from injury and although there are still two games left of the Qatar season, he has decided not to risk any further injury in the two games left. If you mean the archways all along the front of the building then as far as i can remember they were entrances with turnstiles and exits from the enclosure and Main stand area.It was in fact one big hall segregated by caging I was not in that part often so i am not 100% sure and my memory is not great as i was pretty young. I do know for sure that there was a gate on the side wall (Broomloan end) just inside the ground where you could transfer from the ground to the main stand. If you look at the painting on the FF site then the turnstile was under the Rangers emblem. Not much help i know but maybe someone can add to it.

We definitely need a quicker CH than Weir,that was totally evident on Sunday. Most of our problems were caused by the defence sitting too deep to cut the space down behind Weir. That meant the midfield was too big for the midfielders to bridge the gap to the striker. Dundee utd could walk through the midfield as we had Daily and Hemdani also forced to sit deep with Fergie Davis and Burke chasing shadows in the forward midfield. CH is number 1 priority imo. Spend some money to break open Cuellors contract for a wage hike as well. Sign Davis!

Sorry Juffery i can't believe you wrote that. All sport in every country is organised by the government. that is why there is a minister for sport. Without government funds sports at the grass roots cannot survive. I would rather pay my tax to be put in to sport rather than feed fat cat councillors to shout their heads off and use expenses to travel the world or buy second houses.

I would have thought the purchase of the players you mentioned was included in the so called 30 mill debt or is that then nearing 40mill? We also made a profit of 3 mill last year which must have cut the debt slightly. As far as i have been reading Cousin has a 3mill ceiling on his selling price and has shown he is desperate to join the EPL, at no matter what level. My point was if he does not bring in any new players then the money coming in will go a long way to bringing the debt down to a single figure debt which is not bad for such a big football club. With the Yank banks in trouble it will possibly put anyone off such an investment now, but my point was if he wants out he may not get a better chance in balancing the books than now. The only trophy that may make a difference in attracting a buyer is the UEFA, given the financial gain in winning it.

The SPL have thrown them a lifeline after they went into administration,and the latest news from their website is that they will be travelling with a full squad of players.
