  1. Apathy? I just don't really care who beats them.
  2. Agree totally with you Craig. I was just looking at it through our window.
  3. The answer is in the word PROFESSIONAL. If you are a serious prof then you will put all biases behind you and aim to reach as high as you can. If that means playing for Celtic then so be it. I don't hate Celtic. They do not mean anything to me. Hate is also an emotion and i have no emotions where Celtic are concerned apart from wanting them to lose because it is better for Rangers. I LOVE Rangers point out and for me that does not go hand in hand with hating Celtic. Sometimes i think people hate Celtic more than they love rangers.

Tully i think you have to realise that the days of us bringing in the top names are gone. What we need now is to be buying\bringing through players who can pull us up one level so that that in turn creates cash to buy players for the next level. We cannot afford Ronaldinho at this moment in time no matter how much we would love to see that class of player gracing our beloved Ibrox.
  5. Saturday, 24 November 2007 ----------------------------------------------Time ---TV Falkirk v Rangers------------------------- 12:30--------*** Celtic v Aberdeen------------------------ 15:00 Hibernian v Dundee United-----------------15:00 Inverness CT v St Mirren-----------------15:00 Kilmarnock v Motherwell-------------------15:00 Sunday, 25 November 2007 ------------------------------------------- Time--- TV Gretna v Hearts ---------------------------14:00---*** Rangers head to the Falkirk stadium on Saturday for a 12.30 kick-off. Falkirk have not been able to hit the heights this season like they did last season. A word of warning for us should be that it was around this time last year that Falkirk started to get their game together. Russell Latapy remains a special player but a good Rangers midfield should be able to dominate the game and close down Falkirk in their own half. I dont expect a repeat of the 7-2 score line but this is a game we should not dream of losing points. If we do then we really have to doubt our SPL chances. Rangers win Celtic will not have it easy against an Aberdeen team that has been growing in confidence. Aberdeen are the Jekyll and Hyde of Scottish football. They can come out and be brilliant one week and the next lose without putting up a fight. They have given Celtic a good game at Parkhead in recent years but always seem to lose out in the end. Probably a game that will be 1-1 until five minutes to go and Celtic win 3-1. Celtic win. Hibs against Dundee utd is a game we will be hoping for a draw. I think Dundee are the better team at the moment but Hibs have home advantage and on their day are second to none. They have shown that by beating both Rangers and Celtic this year. Both teams seem to rise to the big occasion but flop against the minnows. This could be the game that anything can happen but i am going to go for a Hibs win as i think they have more fighting spirit. Hibs win. Inverness against St Mirren is my draw tip for the week. Inverness had a great manager change period, but seem to be coming back down to earth in recent weeks. St Mirren have made it difficult for better teams than Inverness so i can only see a draw here. Draw. Kilmarnock get a visit from Motherwell. On form it should be a win for Motherwell but Killie are also a team who at home can wrestle a win. Motherwell play attacking football home and away so the fact it is at Rugby park wont make them change their system. This game can go anyway really as both teams will probably be fighting for the fifth and sixth spot at the end of the season.I will go for the attacking game of the Steelmen to get the points here. Motherwell win. Gretna meet Hearts at Fir park and to be honest I find it hard to say anything positive over the marriage men. In fact I find it hard to say anything positive about anything to do with marriage. Joking apart I think Hearts will be too strong for Gretna and the highlight for me in this game will be watching Laryea Kingston for the reason that we are said to be interested in him. Every week and every defeat puts Gretna nearer where they belong in the lower leagues. A team from a village with a population of 3000 people is not bringing anything to the SPL and the quicker they return to the lower leagues the better. Brooks Mileson would be better putting his money in a team with the possibility of getting some supporters through the gates like Dundee or St Johnstone. I will admit not playing at Raydale park hasnt helped them and they probably would be tough to beat there, but the chances of them building up a decent following are very slim. Hearts win.
  6. With Hibs he knew his role which was more dominating than he has with us. Does he know his role next to Fergie? Is he in awe of Fergie? Is Fergie overpowering him. Playing beside Fergie is not the easiest job in the world in my eyes.
  7. Yes but at the same time IF my Aunty was a man he would have been my uncle.
  8. Yessss!!!!!2-3
  9. Bar steward!!!
  10. Ha ha dropped blunderer Robinson for Blunderer Carson.
  11. Jeroen van den Broeck came on as a Sub last week and scored for the u19's and now for the reserves that also looks promising. Seeing Darchville and Cousin playing together is the first thing i am hoping to see. Buffel playing behind them could be awesome if he plays well. Against Falkirk we could go 3-5-2 ------- Cuellar------WEIR-------Papac--------- Hutton-----Fegie--------Hemdani-------MÃ?â?¡ulloch\Beasly\Thomson --------------------Buffel---------------------------- -----------Cousin--------------------JCD------------- I don't know if i would chance this as i think Weir may be too slow to play in a 3 man defence, it is just an idea of what we could do.
  12. Why should we sign him he has hardly kicked a ball for us. All we have done is help Wigan out by paying his wages.
  13. Riorden will have to go somewhere else first. We would have to pay the tims far above their asking price to get him.
  14. Boyd a 30 goal plus player out and miller who couldn't score in a brothel in? Doesn't sound a good deal to me. I think we have two strikers who can do what Miller does except they do it better. Although i am not Boyds biggest fan i do think he offers a different formation set-up and is a proven goal scorer. If Cousin leaves then Miller coming in may be an option. A creative midfielder is still the area i would be making a priority if we are going to spend money on wages. From what i have seen of Kingston he looked to be skillful but i have not seen enough of him to give a honest decision. Qualifying for the CL will be crucial to the Hutton case i think. If we qualify then i think he will stay at least until the summer. If we end up in the UEFA then there is a chance Murray will want to cash in on him.
  15. As i saw it at the time (and i am now totally saying this from memory as i have not seen any highlights since)Hutton got the ball and he ran slightly out the park. In my opinion he did what Gav has been on about, he went into the easy street mode.(Idid it i got the ball.) All of a sudden he realised the Italian player was homing in on him and tried to throw his body in to block the progress but the Italian player had more speed and therefore Hutton ran against a brick wall. For me it is a question at that moment who got their body closest to the ball and i thought the Italian had done that.
  16. Everyone see's these things different but the bottom line is it was given and we failed to defend the cross. Now we are out.
  17. I agree with you in retrospect but my first thought at that moment was that hutton had committed the foul.
  18. Hartley was the worst player on the pitch. I was screaming for Eck to bring on a forward to replace him. He was a waste of space. Why he brought Brown off i will never understand.
  19. I am going to be really honest. When i was watching live i thought Hutton had realised he had lost the ball and tried to shoulder his way back onto the ball. I can actually see why the ref gave the decision. It was only when i saw the replay that i thought it was a foul for Scotland. Even now i think Hutton tried a shoulder charge but lost out because the Italian was at full gallop.
  20. Ukraine and Georgia came back to haunt us. Just a pity we switched off for the first goal. Even if the second goal was not a free-kick we should have defended it better.

    Alan Hutton

To be honest i don't think that he is the best defender around. In fact i would say it is the week link in his game. I would say he may be the best attacking full-back in Britain. If he can get the defensive part of his game (and possibly his temper) sorted out with a bit of specialist coaching then he really will be world class.

    Alan Hutton

I thought he was a great talent before his injury and prayed he would come back to the same level. He has got even better. I don't know if he was to blame for the first goal today but he was one of the three players caught sleeping.
  23. The Italians scored a good goal and it was not given. Yes he got it wrong at the end but the Ref is not the reason we lost. We missed our chances and the Italians scored with the chances they got. On the day they did what Italy do. They outfoxed us.
  24. I will be devastated if France go through instead of us. We beat them twice, they really are not a great team any more.
  25. The mercenary strikes again!! Agrees in principle to manage Australia and then does a u-turn when offered 2.5million euro's to stay in Russia. That is Dick Advocaat. His loyalty can only be bought.
