I seem to have cleared the problem. i emptied all the programmes i did not know or did not use in the software part of my Configuration Directory. Unfortunately i threw every thing away before noting what programme was causing the bother. Over the moon that i can open all websites again!!!

Gribz we are on the same wavelength. Hemdani must be first choice. I am seriously starting to doubt your Sebo reasoning though. I have been watching him recently for his French club and he really looks shite. I hoped until now he would prove us wrong but he really is just crap.

I have no problem that a subway line is brought to Parkhead as that will be a benefit to all people long term who live or work in that area. I agree that if the Celtic stadium is refurbished with money that other teams in the league do not have claim to, then that could and probably will be an advantage to CFC. How can the SPL make Falkirk, Gretna build a stadium they cannot afford and do not need from their own money but allow Celtic to reap in millions to improve their stadium at the cost of others. Money used to improve Glasgow as a whole must be a good thing but everyone should benefit from the cause.

I enjoy the second week of the games with the athletics but the first week with swimming doesn't do much for me. I don't mind the female swimming before they dive in though.:fish:

Cal if i read this it would seem your vision for supporting Scotland is completely a mirror image on your support for Rangers. You were quite happy with a pathetic failure on Wednesday. Or maybe our visions of what is glorious and what is pathetic. Pathetic in my eyes would be defending our own 18 yard line for 90mins. Glorious would be us fighting for every ball and taking a risk now and again, hitting the post, hitting the bar and losing 2-1. No we should not play like headless chickens but if we want to get through we will need to take a chance of getting players forward at sometime. Italy have a large striker who is good in the air so it will be suicide to sit in our own 18 yard box. Of course if we defend for 89mins and score in the last minute then that will be a pathetic win and that would be acceptable of course.

The only last third we saw was our own. That was the only place we didn't fail.

Saturday, 10 November 2007---------Time--------------TV Dundee United v Kilmarnock-----------15:00 Gretna v Hibernian--------------------15:00 Inverness CT v Motherwell------------15:00 Sunday, 11 November 2007-----------Time--------------TV Hearts v Aberdeen--------------------15--------------Setanta With the Rangers and Celtic games cancelled due to the International game next week the programme has been shortened to four games. Dundee United will be looking to get back on track after their defeat to Aberdeen, when they meet Kilmarnock on Saturday. They will be without two of their most influental player's though as Barry Robson and Lee Wilkie are suspended after both recieving a red card against Aberdeen. Killie have been getting back on form as late and were really quite unlucky not to get a point against Celtic after an inspired second half display. I think the loss of Robson and Wilkie, will make a big difference to the united side and fancy Killie for a draw. DRAW Gretna meet Hibs at Fir park and for me there is only one winner in this one. Gretna are slowly sliding towards a return to the first division and the question must be asked if the price they have payed for their instant upsurge will have a long term effect on their club.Hibs have been in poor form of late losing to St Mirren and drawing with Hearts in their last two games. A meeting with Gretna will be just what the doctor ordered. Hibs win. Inverness are at home to Motherwell and a few games ago i would have gone for Motherwell to win. Now i feel that Caley have got up and running and Motherwell have dropped down a gear. I think Craig Brewster has got his team up to a level that i am going to go for a Caley win on this one. Inverness win. On Sunday Aberdeen travel down to Edinburgh to meet Hearts at Tynecastle. Aberdeen have found a rich vain of form of late and Whipped Dundee United 2-0 in their last game. With Hearts you never know what you are gong to get. they can be brilliant one week and garbage the next. I am going for the draw on this one but to be honest it is a cossroads, it can go in all directions. Draw. Fixture announcement!!! Celtic v Falkirk Now 11/12/07, 7.45pm Hibernian v Rangers Now 29/12/07, 12.30pm Live on Setanta Sports Celtic v Rangers Now 02/01/08, 12.30pm Live on Setanta Sports Celtic three day's after playing Hibs must be a huge handicap for us Two of the most difficult away games in a three day period. These games could be crucial as to who will win the the league.
-
Craig this is not just Barcelona. We done the same against Hibs and got outclassed, we even got outclassed against Motherwell for 45mins. We pass and watch!!! We watch other teams play. We beat Stuttgart possibly somewhat luckily, after watching them for 60mins We beat Lyon brilliantly. We beat Celtic double brilliantly but apart from that we have struggled to beat or even lost to mediocre teams. Frigg'n Hibs and motherwell dominated us for periods, are they also on another planet. Sorry this is not just about Bacelona but visible frailties in our team.

That is where i find a grey zone. How much did they give us a lesson? How much did we stand and let them give us a football lesson. I guess we will never know because we did not try for 180 minutes against them
-
The old commentators curse comes to mind in these games. "Rangers are only 90 minutes away from quallifying for the knockout stages" "Rangers are only 45 minutes away from quallifying for the knockout stages" I hate these remarks they are mostly the curse of death.

I think if you read our history you will find we used to do quite well in Europe. Iremember games as PSV 2-3, Bayern at Ibrox 2-0, Leeds at Ellend road where we went and fought if they teams had gone and lay down then our history would be pretty poor.
-
Agree Ian and maybe that is my gripe that UEFA have made a tournement that makes rich clubs richer and earning money is more important than the game of football itself. Just annoy's me.
-
As i see it we didn't even try. If teams lie down and roll over for Barcelona without putting up a fight then yes they will be different class.

Can anyone help me PLEASE!!!!! I have been having a lot of problems getting on to websites recently. I can get on to the Gersnet online but if i try and open say Rangers Stastistics then i get a can't find the page message. I have the feeling a microsoft update is stopping me opening these pages. Is there a file on these pages microsoft don't like and how can i change it. I have switched off my firewall and tried it but it didn't help. Please help as my other option is format "C"
-
Ian i take every Rangers and Scotland defeat hard. It breaks my heart to see us playing like the Faroe Islands. We lay down and rolled over tonight.
-
We can't throw caution to the wind but we really have to be more positive as we have been in the group so far. Stuttgart were better than us for a while at Ibrox and i think they will see us as their best chance to beat the duck.
-
I am really shit scared for the Stuttgart game. We face the same dilemma Scotland had in Georgia. Do we go for the win or play safe and leave a knock-out game against Lyon.
-
Thanks mate i found it strange it wasn't mentioned anywhere.
-
The hitting your head against a brick wall was a good and well used one as well.
-
I haven't seen this posted but i read on a Dutch site that up to 700 Rangers fans had been causing trouble yesterday. I can't see anything in the Scottish newspapers. Anyone know more?
-
Frankie are you happy no matter who we are playing that we can't even get the ball out our own half. The park is 50 yards wide and they also only have 11 players be it of a better class. I don't know if Walter said, don't cross the half-way line, then it is his fault i can only see that the players didn't even attempt it.
-
I hope he never learns to get the final ball good, because if he does he will give us a lot of headaches. hutton does generally put him in his back-pocket though.
-
I agree with Hemdani but i feel you are being kind with your cyphers i would be talking 3's and 4's what for me was a purely disappointing game. Even for defenders the art of playing football is getting the ball in the opposing half. We failed miserably.
-
Craig maybe this is a slight exaggeration but i think i can count in two hands how often we were more than a few yards in their half. I don't care who we are playing this is not good enough in my book. What happened to"It is better to have fought and lost than not to have fought at all"
-
Maybe i am just disappointed to see the Ranges i love, drop to Faroe Islands tactics no matter who we are up against. I come from a time we used to give these teams a game.
