  1. Yeh Cousin for me without doubt he worked his socks off. I will say though i don't think we played well tonight. We defended well but to be honest except for once or twice we could not string three passes together. I think we gave them far too much respect to be honest. It is great getting the point but i really think with a bit of confidence we could have done so much more.

    Taxi!!!

:uzi: I couldn't get a word in edge ways to be funny;) plus the fact i was mostly drool'n at the mouth at those two birds that were standing next to us. Hope we do it again sometime though with maybe a few more guy's. I make about 95% of it up myself as it is actual, with sometimes a joke from the Internet to help. I can't do one every week though as most weeks the games have been boring and it is difficult to think up something funny. Wee Gordie and Boruc are brilliant for material though.

    Taxi!!!

Well that was the first old firm game of the season. and what a game it was. Celtic were so off the pace even Lewis Hamilton couldnt have closed the gap. Well Lewis wasnt in a gap closing mood at the weekend anyway. What is a tim in an Ibrox derby- Timid Word has it that Scott McDonald had been in touch with Tam McGowan before the game, seemingly he wanted to do a whole series of offside And then there was our big friend Artur Boruc, what a guy. After the game he wouldnt give a hand to the Rangers players. Well he never got a hand to anything the whole afternoon anyway. Story goes that he was so upset he refused to go on the bus back to Parkhead saying he would catch a taxi. Wee Gordie replied well I hope you have better luck catching that. It is rumored that Celtic have a new transfer policy. They wont sign a player who has been circumcised, You have to be a complete dick to play for them. There was a wee striker from Spain, For Rangers against Celtic he was playn, Big Caldwell was slow, and let the ball go, For Nacho to head home again. Our captain had his mind set, a win is what we would get he wouldnt let O'Day, get in his way, as he toe-poked the ball in the net. Charlie Adam made the tims sick as he mystified Sno with a trick, Evander thought he would shoot, then gave Adam the boot, Nacho stroked home the penalty kick. The Celtic supporters felt so proud, and were trying to sing very loud, but they all ceased their din, when the goals flooded in, now theyre a much quieter crowd. Before the game Boruc is a perpetual crosser, during the game a perpetual dosser, seemingly his god, wont shake hands with a prod, or is he just a bad losing Tosser. Shunsuke Nakamura had asked Gordon Strachan to go for a drink with him after the game but Gordie had to renege. He was frightened of the Sak-i . Taxi!!!
  4. Agree with that if he wants to be a superstar he has to improve his temper.
  5. Agree and if i remember right that one led to a goal.

    good news

Now there is a name from the past! Welcome back mate.
  7. Agree Gav i can't get that he played less but he fought on with an injury attitude. If my car only starts three days a week i will get it fixed or buy another one. Yes Fergie can be special but he has to do week in week out and not one week in five. Personally i don't want to think at the end of the season, pity we lost the league but Barry fought on well with his injury.

FFS if you look at the players rating i guess we were lucky we won. This was Spiers contribution. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/scotland/article2698131.ece
  9. Apart from the the Ukraine game and today i don't think he has been playing that great. Against Hibs Motherwell Lyon,Hearts he was pretty crap but that seems to be the Barry way he shows he can be great and the most people accept that he plays 4 crap games to one world class performance. Personally i hope today's performance brings in a January bid of about 3-4mill, i would bite their hand off accepting it. If he produces today's form on a weekly basis between now and January i will rethink my views.
  10. You can say that again.
  11. Agree with you guy's it doesn't sound that good for me. Scott Nesbitt springs to mind. I hope we are wrong as he looked a great talent.
  12. Murty, atrocious. Pearson and Maloney are just what they were, celtic reserve players.Fletcher was obviously not fit. Mcfadden lost the plot but that is because he wanted too much. No problems with the rest they done their best but georgia beat us fair and square.
  13. I don't want to show my age either but a reel to reel was the first tape deck we had and an 8-track in the car(my dad's car). I normally bought an LP and taped it once and listened to the tape. I still have a lot of LP's that have only been played once for taping and never used again. They now lie in the loft somewhere. Calscot is right the sound was deplorable and if you pressed the dolby sound you cut out most of the high notes. It was a great improvement for the car radio though as the cassette's took in far less room than an 8-track. I only make CD's for the car now as i transfer all music i want to listen to from the computer onto the hard drive of my Satellite tuner which is connected to my HI-Fi. Also means if a hard drive packs in i have a back-up.
  14. I reneged from getting involved in this discussion as well but i couldn't help thinking on the old joke about a Protestant,Jew and a Muslim entering the pearly gates and getting a tour of heaven. St Peter explained in that part the Jews live, over there the Protestants and all religions are spread through the whole of heaven. On seeing a huge brick wall they looked confused and asked what was behind it. Oh that's the Catholics he said, they like to think they live alone up here. BC seemed to be a good guy for a while but as they say a leopard can't change their spots.
  15. I don't like the second or third shirt. The blue cross on the second strip should be dark blue for a start. personally i would prefer a tartan second top and you could have a light tartan for the second top and a darker tartan for the third if needed.(or vice versa)
  16. Have faith we will beat Italy at Hampden if we need to.
  17. Cammy you obviously felt that this post was attacking you. You stated in an earlier post that people should respect you for your non support of Scotland, but the fact is you are the one who keeps attacking Scotland fans. No one on this forum has ever attacked you for not supporting Scotland but time and time again you come away with i hate the tartan army.If you want to keep Scotland in the 18th century with i am a Presbyterian boy therefore i can't support Scotland then that is up to you, but keep it to yourself because the most posters on here support Scotland. Don't play for the hurt innocent guy who keeps getting slagged for not supporting Scotland. You are the one who who makes an issue of it. A shame really you are not flexible enough to open your mind to modern thinking.
  18. Agree with everything. I was glad Eck left as i didn't rate him. I still don't rate him as a Rangers manager on a weekly basis but he has been brilliant with Scotland.
  19. If we can beat Georgia and Italy take three points from their last game, we can make a it a dour 0-0 and both teams will go through.
  20. If we finish on equal points as France we will also go through because we beat them twice. Unfortunately if we end up on the same points as Italy with a draw at Hampden then they will go through. What a dumper that would be.
  21. Haven't seen it yet but it sounded brilliant on the radio although at times i couldn't listen because of nerves. Well done the boys. Lets hope Georgia can maybe do us a favour and nick a surprise win.
  22. scotland and Georgia win would just about seal things. We are never that lucky though so i think that is a dream where the bubble will burst.
  23. RANGERS' fringe stars enhanced their chances of forcing their way into Walter Smith's top team plans when they defeated Newcastle United today 3-1 at St James's Park. Many of the lads who have been on the outside in recent weeks really put in good performances in the match which was played behind closed doors. Chris Burke and Steven Whittaker Young striker Rory Loy, Chris Burke and Alan Gow got the goals in a comfortable win for the Ibrox men against a strong Magpies side which included Joey Barton. Centre back Ugo Ehiogu was outstanding in defence for Rangers and he clearly wanted to show that he is bursting to get back into the real thing. Coach Ian Durrant said: "It was a good workout for the boys in many ways and we had a lot of good performances. "Big Ugo was exceptional at the back, but we also had really good performances from Alan Gow, Chris Burke and Charlie Adam which is obviously good news too. "We were obviously happy to win the game against a strong Newcastle side but it was more important to keep the lads ticking over." I don't see Buffel's name mentioned is he away with Belgium,or was he playing?
  24. I don't like the rotation game because i think confidence is a huge part of winning. If we are chopping and changing every game then i think that works against building up confidence and therefore we get less fluency.
  25. Barry,on Sunday evening Henk ter Cate was angrily shouting he had no idea who was making up the Chelsea stories and it was all rubbish. Monday morning he was off so a lot of times the fire is there but they just try to keep covering it.
