  1. Boyd and Fad seemingly had a fight who was going to take a penalty. Lucky he scored otherwise he would have taken some slagging. Scotland -Cyprus 8-0 was the last big score. 2. I am always amazed by the guests on Scotsport. This week it was Andy Walker, John Colquhoun and Gerry McNee. Last year hugh keevins and Graham Spiers were also regulars and will no doubt be on this year again. What chance have we got of getting an even shout with that lot. I believe Jim Delahunt is a Rangers supporter though. If you put Pat Nevin as the Beebs main man then the chance of us getting a fair crack of the whip certainly does seem to be little or none.
  3. That sums up a mostly how i feel although i have never really been keen on the London teams, i always hoped they get gubbed. I followed how Leeds were doing for a while because i had family there. I also hated Manu because i thought they were the tims of England, but now we are working with them and Cammy pointed out a bit about their history, i will mellow how i feel about them.I still hope they get gubbed by the underdogs though.
  4. No, no favourite English team. Usually the underdog. Born with Rangers in my heart. I do feel though, that indeed with the coverage of the EPL many of the next generation may favour to support an EPL team.
  5. The Feyenoord supporters have seen Kalu and kuiyt leave for 20 mill euros. Many top strikers were mentioned and the rumours were rife that Love from Fc Moscow was on the way. Then the only buy is the 5th striker from your biggest enemy. That put the cat right amongst the pigeons. Now they have Van Hooidonk who failed at NAC this time round and is past it to be honest, and a castoff from Ajax. OUCH!! I think the protests will continue for the next few weeks.
  6. You know what i hate? When i go to Ibrox(which is not often these days, granted), some people have hardly warmed their bums and start the negative bullshit. "Fergie you're a muppet" "Prso Your Shite" That is the feeling i am getting now from some supporters over our new manager. These people seem to be surfacing everywhere. Give the guy a chance ffs. Five games!!! It took Fergie years to turn Manu round. Our game is improving so lets not get our knickers in a twist and get 100% behind our manager and our team. Rant over
  7. An Evening Times reporter said he believed Murray was sitting on the money to make Rangers attractive for a sell out. This may not be such a crazy suggestion. With the AGM coming up he may have many questions to answer. It seems every year he bullshits us during the transfer window, that there is big money on the table for transfers. Funny enough, his managers(Eck and Le Guen) only seem to want to spend pennies and not use the big money available, to buy some good players. Anyone else smell BULLSHIT???
  8. Bernard had already areed with Leeds to join them. Leeds and Bernard were indeed waiting for a Rangers payoff. Then it seems Newcastle jumped in at the last minute. http://www.leedsunited.com/page/NewsroomDetail/0,,10273~891349,00.html
  9. I heard a caller on the radio still thinking Eck would be doing better than Le Guen. I can only say possibly over the 5 games we have played now but not over a season. Maybe he enjoyed watching Ecks crap every week.
  10. Feynoord fans are gathering at the kuip to protest at the signing of Ajax 5th choice striker Angelos Charisteas to replace Dirk Kuijt. Angry fans are shouting for the chairman and whole technical staff to resign. One supporter said we were promised a world class striker and got a ball boy.
  11. Agreed Frankie but from all the deadwood i am glad it is Nacho that is staying. Maybe he can still play a part. Papac was a 3 year deal bye the way.
  12. Arsenal can't do much with the 20 mill now.
  13. Rangers will be doing no more business in this window accorrding to an Ibrox rep. Early to bed then. Probably not.
  14. 650.000 euros according to Chick Young that is good business if they wanted a million pounds
  15. According to the Beeb Papac is at Murray park to finish things off.
  16. Fan-Fan has now also been paid off!! BBC Radio
  17. Seems you won't get your wish Craig le Gaffer has stated on the official site that he is finished if he gets a central defender.

  19. Big Marv might help us defensively but he was also caught sleeping many times last year, in a build-up he is worse than a player short. He can score with corners but is that the kind of football we want to watch week in week out? He may be worth keeping just for VoH but then we are going back to the Eck tactics of worrying about the other team instead of playing to our strengths. Marv has to go and we need a dominant CH in the John Terry, Terry Butcher mould.
  20. Give the guy time. 5 games ffs. He has not had time to put in a new bin bag in his office waste paper basket. We look to be heading in the right direction and last year we topped the league in the beginning and then evaporated. This year we have to be ready for a long haul. A last day league win will suit me fine.
  21. The agent of Javier Saviola has claimed that Aston Villa have made an offer for the Barcelona hit-man. The 24-year-old once again finds himself out of favour at Camp Nou having spent the past two seasons out on loan at Monaco and Sevilla. With just one year left on his contract, Barca are keen to offload him permanently this summer but have been unable to agree a deal with interested suitors. The likes of Arsenal, Hamburg, Bolton and Sevilla have all been linked with the Argentine, but it has now emerged that Villa have submitted an offer for the South American. When asked whether a bid from the Midlanders had been submitted, Saviola's agent Alfredo Cabrera responded: "It is true. "We have options in Spain, England and Italy, but there will not be definitive movement until Wednesday." Villa are understood to be doing battle with the likes of Celta Vigo, Real Zaragoza and Villarreal for the diminutive forward who impressed for Argentina at the World Cup. With a deal for Stilian Petrov edging ever closer, the capture of Saviola would represent another sizeable coup for Villa boss Martin O'Neill.
  22. FFFFFCCCKKKK it.... Back-shift:mad:
  23. Despite Sir Alex Ferguson's insistence that he doesn't require another striker, ManYoo are being heavily linked with a last-gasp move for David Trezeguet. Predicting a '£12million transfer deadline-day raid' for the Juventus striker, The Daily Mirror says that 'Sir Alex Ferguson made his move for Trezeguet after deciding he needed to bolster his strike-force following the departure of Ruud van Nistelrooy to Real Madrid.' 'It is understood that Trezeguet's father, who also acts as his agent, has already met United officials to discuss a potential move ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline. 'But Trezeguet has expressed his desire to leave and United are favourites to land the Frenchman, although they face competition from Lyon for his signature.' ManYoo still haven't given up on signing Owen Hargreaves either. According to The Daily Telegraph, Sir Fergie has turned to Sir Bobby Charlton in a desperate bid to persuade a stubborn Bayern Munich to sell Hargreaves before Thursday night. Sir Fergie hopes that 'the ambassadorial qualities of Charlton' and his '40-year association with Franz Beckenbauer' will be sufficient to break the deadlock over Hargreaves' proposed move. However, there are still no indications that Bayern are preparing to budge, with ManYoo chief executive David Gill failing to make any progress with his German counterpart at last Thursday's Champions League draw.
  24. Anyone know how Moses Ashikodi is doing? Is he anywhere near first team football?
  25. I have to admit your right Chris.
