  1. I think there was something in the ET...
  2. I'm sure worse goes on on a pitch Craig. Players will be downright horrible to each other to gain an advantage and deliver a psychological blow where possible. Not saying it's right, just know that players are not always nice to each other.
  3. First time I've seen the guy being interviewed. Seems very positive about the move indeed and didn't really consult anyone before making it - it just felt right, apparently. Good to see players pleased to be here and happy to be part of the PLG revolution Also speaks reasonably good English.
  4. Ok, latest again from Channel 4 is that Materazzi called Zidane's mother a whore, and as she'd just gone into hospital that morning with ZZ being very worried about her all day the comment was slightly ill timed. Wonder if that's the truth...
  5. He was never given a good run because both Eck (Remember him) and PLG have seen from training how thoroughly mediocre he is, and never saw any point giving him a chance.
  6. Agree - supporters wanting to propagate bigotry and sectarianism are not welcome at Ibrox in the eye of the club and the majority of good supporters.
  7. I have a lot of respect for this comment. Sure, you made a mistake but now you recognise it. There was one such guy featured on a recent documentary about it, and he was like the ultimate bigot moron with his head up his arse. Supporters like him bring shame on our club.

    Game

Ok, this is from John over at GF who kindly offered it to my forum as well: "Give it a wide berth bears It has been suggested that the Rangers - Clyde match on the 15th July at Broadwood will be contested by the reserves and/or even youth teams. Rangers are still scheduled to be in South Africa from the 8th July for 1 week therefore no 1st team players taking part in thsi "friendly" (not so sure about the It has also been suggested that Rangers supporters who do buy tickets or turn up fpr the game will do nothing more than contribute to Clyde's spending budget for the season, which will be spent by Joe Miller and Tommy Coyne following the departure of Graham Roberts. I have both read and listened to the claims and counter claims regarding anti semitic abuse, misappropriation of funds etc and I believe there are more revelations to come. I understand that Clyde are on the verge of clinching an away shirt sponsorship with Dubai Property Services which would land them 250-300k but must dispose of the services of Roberts as a condition of the deal. Joe Miller is directly linked to the people at DBS and rumour has it that Joes's mate at DBS may even be installed as club chairman as part of the deal. For rhe record, Roberts has been cleared of the anti-semitic abuse allegation by the Canadian FA and no complaint was made other than in a letter to Clyde, coincidentally it was penned by Joe Miller's "associate" who, along with Joe made all the arrangements for the Canadian tour. Imagine an ex Spurs hero, who still remains close to the heart of that strong Jewish club spouting anti-semitic abuse? The allegation of missing club funds was made to the police by Roberts when the club's board made it clear they would not be investigating the claims, yet they are still unwilling to accept the statement from the Canadian FA exonerating Roberts from the abusive allegations. I understand there was some banter at the game in question but it involved a questionable haircut sported by a Canadian player and a joke made to a "rather vocal" spectator -both who took it in good humour. It would appear that the Celtic connection (and the board are all Celtic supporters by the way) will be running Clyde next season - well they should do it without the help of the Rangers' supporters money." Hope this enlightens folk.
  9. Ah good, glad to get rid of him. Mediocre midrange SPL player and no more. Shunted out on his arse at Doncaster tells you his level. Me and PLG agree big time on this one.

    Ricksen?

Aw aye, Klos too. Anyway, latest on the Ricksen situation from the Evening Times is Ricksen admits to having a drink and that apparently he threw water over the hostess. He cites his defence as being he wasn't the only one drinking. Apparently he does regret the incident heavily though, but still thinks the punishment exceeds the crime.
  11. Latest on SSN is his denial he called Zidane a dirty terrorist. This one's gonna run and run. End of the day, no matter what he said, you'd think on such an occasion Zidane would have kept a cool head. Evidently not.
  12. Well they got a high profile coach so fair enough. And they also acted quickly.

    Ricksen?

He made his breakthrough during the DA era. So he's the last.

    Ricksen?

    Technically that would be Barry.

    Ricksen?

I really liked Cammy's Gazza comparison. That's a good and valid example to compare with. Truth is some players are indispensible, and Gazza was one of those players, and the rules didn't apply to him as they did to lesser mortals. Ricksen is no longer an integral part of our squad, so isn't vital to our plans - PLG can make an example of him without fearing he's hurting the first 11. The loss of Gazza would have been monumental to us, and the other fact is that as we know, WS was a completely different style of manager to PLG. PLG demands respect, and you get the impression the 9IAR's squad's mentality of the 'team who drinks together, wins together' could not be further from PLG's ethos.
  16. Mojo did some job of being hated by both sides of the OF - earth shattering signing, at least in Glasgow anyway. Definitely a good siging and one I'm glad we made. Did those who ripped up their season tickets or stop attending do it because he was a catholic, or a Celtic player?
  17. It wasn't the greatest WC, I don't disagree there. Too many big names and big teams underperformed, and the final itself was full of incident, but not of good football. At least we got an outstanding semi final between Germany and Italy.
  18. Latest story is that Marco insulted Zidane's mother. Big whoop - players wind each other up all the time. It was ridiculous for Zidane to let anything get under his skin like that and ruin the greatest hurrah of his career. There is simply no excuse.
  19. Pretty much. The only ones I missed completely were the matches on the last group day where you had to choose one game or another.
  20. There's watermarks and there's this. Absolutely ludicrous. Plus the site is slower than an asthmatic snail.
  21. What's the prize on offer here...
  22. Not bad money for someone they got for free. Not quite as good as a certain £8M though
  23. He's also a complete liability.
  24. I still say that it appears myself and Gersfem saw the most actually. We dispute Fraser's crown
  25. I watched every game I was able to. Even when I wasn't in I tried to get access to a TV. I basically followed every game - although I didn't completely focus on matches like Tunisia V Iran. I'd say overall I watched every match I could. Obviously I missed out on the simultaneous games on the last group day. Made a choice and generally stuck to it.
