  1. He liked his Bevvy and Women (don't we all) although ended up with a coronary (ouch) I'm sure we could all do with avoiding that. Especially Pena as we have just shelled out 3m "Greenbacks" for him!!!
  2. Ribs we think?
  3. That post is just about exactly how I feel on the subject. It is what it is and we just have to hope things pick up? I like Pedro and I hope it works out. Results will dictate his future. Lets see what's happens at Dingwall?
  4. Interestingly when I was through at auchenowie last week I asked about the psychology programme at the club? I'm sure Craig Mulholland said they have two part time psychs at the minute. They were looking to add more emphasis on this side of a players overall wellbeing. Introducing full time Psychology/Sports Psychologists which are necessary at every club now for a variety of sporting and personal reasons. I'm only reading what you guys are and trying to make sense of the situation. If it is what it is, Pena needs someone to talk too that's outside the box and impartial. Not the manager, or his teammates, just someone to listen who he knows has no agenda. He won't find this in bars/clubs etc. It's a big move and change of culture. I understand people's frustration however all I will say is that I would have expected a club the size of ours to already have at least 2/3 full time psychs (playing and management staff to be looked after and they are on call 24/7). We will have a full sports psychology programme in operation soon from what CM said however that's not helping Pena right now. Before anyone says what about days gone by etc, it dosnt matter. Every big club has a full sports psychology programme now for a variety of reasons. Pena situation being a prime example.
  5. I honestly don't think anyone under 40 buys a newspaper anymore mate? Maybe bookmark something for sharing though?
  6. I much prefer the one I have got from last season. This one is very bland!
  7. What is Dorrans natural position? Is he a holding midfielder the same as Jack too? That's what he seems to be doing but Jack is doing it therefore he is invisible. After the Motherwell game I had thought he would play at the top of a diamond potentially? He looked like he had an eye for goal?
  8. Adrian Sprott, I remember that day vividly!
  9. I was on the Betfair site and about to do a Huddersfield/Chelsea double, got distracted as phone went. Didn't put it on and I'm sick as a parrot!!
  10. Ajax, Feynoord, PSV, Rangers, Mhanks, Anderlecht, Club Brugge, Rosenberg, Red bull Salzburg, Austria Wien, FC Copenhagen, Brondby, Malmo, Benfica, Porto and Sporting Lisbon. I know it's a bit off topic but as we are discussing the Dutch clubs and ourselves being in a diddy league. This would be a decent 16 team North Atlantic League (ok the Portuguese but they are north enough). There would be interest from all over Europe and tv money to go with it! I can always dream......
  11. That a very accurate point Rousseau. We sit directly above the scoreboard at the broamy. So in the second half I had commented to the guy next to me (and my niece lol) that we had gone 4-2-4 with route one, by pass midfield. We have a good view right up the centre of the pitch from behind the goal. Effectively though it became "bugle" time and it was 2-4-4 or 2-3-5 and at the end it was 2-8 I think? Yes though, Tav and Waldo were playing as wingers and we only had two at the back. I noticed that immediately after Dorrans came off.
  12. That was so blatantly obvious yesterday. It wasn't game time or fitness. His legs have completely gone. It was quite embarrassing watching him tbh. I'm not sure he should play again? The guy had great talent and I guess you could say he could produce a bit of magic? However for me, I would have had Dodoo on the bench before him.
  13. That's it BD! The n has a y sound.
  14. He could do worse than give Hardie a start alongside Morelos? I agree with your point re Moult though!
  15. Yes it's not looking good? I hear on the radio he played a round of golf with King after the Hibs defeat? He has the full support of DK. What that means is anyone's guess? He will get to the Tims game (I think?) but if he loses the next few who knows? Can we afford to toast him and be left with all his squad? If I'm being objective I would still say give the guy until the mhanks game. Let's see if he can make it work although it's not looking good. Hearts just sat in all day today and we missed several sitters (Miller in particular). Very frustrating!
  16. It was that mate! Oh how parochial they are perceived outside their bubble. Great listening to the guy.
  17. As you say...reserved for Brenda....
  18. Completely agree Rab! I actually agree with something Bill said too. They will rescind the card (damage done anyway) go easy on us for a few weeks then hit us when it hurts most. Funny how these refereeing mistakes are becoming selective..... I don't want to see Beaton near a Rangers game again.
  19. I like listening to David Edgar. I don't know his background and havnt met him however he cites social psychology regularly. I'm glad he pointed out that he had noticed Beatons non verbal cues. Also the players reactions. I noticed Morelos first, but then Miller and Bruno realise what was happening with Beaton. They were in shock. Great pod this week and good to know I'm not the only one analysing everyone and everything lol.
  20. I notice you don't find many other comments that share my sentiments as illogical or unreasonable as mine? I can only conclude that for some reason you find my posts or personality unpleasant? Whatever the motivation all the more reason for me to ignore you.
  21. "A desire to disadvantage Rangers" I completely agree Bill. I watched his body language yesterday which was open when dealing with Hibs players and mainly closed with Rangers. I have alluded to a few things today and some seem fed up hearing me talk so I'm out now. I'm aware this proves nothing and it seems others think my points at best lack substance too. I analyse most things (psychology students do that, especially washed up mature ones lol) and I have been accused of being akin to a "moon howler". There are some officials who can't hide what's going on in their head, no matter how hard they try. Some will believe me, some won't. We are all bears at the end of the day. On to the next game, keep our faith in Pedro!
  22. It was great to see behind the scenes the other day. A great point re why we do really well when younger and don't seem to push on in more numbers? I don't know if you remember me briefly bringing up the "psychology" of it rbr. I genuinely think that's a lot to do with it. Hopefully we can focus more on it as was touched on, and have lads push on into the first team.
  23. I will stick to polite topics with folk who are not offended by my posts. As you say it's a football forum. There are plenty of others who reference conspiracy, not sure why you highlight me but fair enough? Point taken.
  24. We passed him at the back of the Copland Road stand. I think Greg Marshal was with him? Loads of Bears shaking his hand and donating for a charity that helps ease such terrible pain and devastation. Really pleasing to see.
  25. I will request your approval the next time I post shall I? The main body of the post you are referring too was acknowledging the good statement from club 1872. There are plenty on here "flairing" topics as you put it? It's a forum, that's what it does. As for like minded individuals, that's the point of a Rangers forum. You may also notice the "thanks" and "agree" buttons to click. Therefore if you don't agree with me fair enough, however you don't know me so why make assumptions on my personality? If I want to be thouraghly raging over yesterday, I will!!
