McInnes: Slams Pedro Caixinha 'Your job is to finish above Celtic'
JFK-1 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Yes, or at least I suspect that which all on it's own is hugely telling. Indicates he acknowledges that Rangers are another level from Aberdeen and simply further illustrates the reality that the sheep days of running second are coming to an end for obvious reasons no one has any need to be ashamed of. Or unduly angered by the mention of. -
McInnes: Slams Pedro Caixinha 'Your job is to finish above Celtic'

This. Hardly mind blowing stuff, everyone knows it's true. Unless McInnes thinks such facts should never be mentioned? -
PEDRO Caixinha says every Rangers player will know whether their future lies at Ibrox next season by Friday. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/pedro-progressing-players/

Do we have any word about the status of Rossiter? By all accounts Kranjcar is there or thereabouts for a return but heard nothing of Rossiter.

I'm hoping there are more than that in advanced talks. Time is rapidly running out before the first Euro qualifier. -
Rangers Pull Out Of The Development League For A Season
JFK-1 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I would abandon the SPL in a heartbeat given the chance then watch the screams of anguish from those who claim they hate us and don't need us. Partick pissed many off by breaking ranks when this seasons fixture list was released and they discovered they may be getting only 1 home game against us. Boohoo, try none. -
Rangers Pull Out Of The Development League For A Season
JFK-1 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Isn't this along the lines of something Warburton hinted at? He suggested that young players had to be loaned out (outside Scotland) for experience playing against better quality opposition which this may accomplish without the loaning out element. -
Match Preview: General Caixinha Takes Command
JFK-1 replied to BrahimHemdani's topic in Rangers Chat
It's the first time I haven't had time to bitch about losing a goal before the lead was restored. -
Mourinho has apparently given up on the league and putting all his eggs in the Europa basket so you may see a lot of key players rested in league matches.

He might not be the only one if they're relegated. And regarding that I hope Accies beat them tomorrow. -
Case against Green, Ashley and other ex Directors.
JFK-1 replied to aweebluesoandso's topic in Rangers Chat
And yet the assets of the club were indisputably used to secure ticketus money prior to the deal being completed. Open and shut case on that score when we have his own lawyer from the deal conceding all that. BEFORE completion of the deal he is signing on behalf of the club? How could the Donald possibly dig him out of that little beauty. -
I would guess that at his age he wants to play and if they're paying ten times what he got at SJ then that's a massive encouragement for Cummings too who will never be in any relatively high wage bracket where he is nor will he be guaranteed a regular shot at Euro football despite the drivel of Lennon about being a second force. If Cummings has half a brain he will know that's utter nonsense and even if he has little brain he will likely have an agent who is considerably smarter than he is and who is capable of separating fantasy from reality. A little bonus factor for us would be the slap in the faces of their 'exuberant' support if we take their prize asset and a little reality check regarding all this 'second force' babble Lennon has been feeding them. Three years in the Championship doesn't mean they come back to an entirely new world where they're magically a second force they have never been in my lifetime.

Case against Green, Ashley and other ex Directors.

When pressed by Mr Prentice, the witness accepted that Craig Whyte's company would not have claim to the assets of Rangers before completion of the deal. Mr Withey said: "Only the owner of Rangers Football Club could use the tickets." -
Well I figured the smiley with tongue out demonstrated the trolling reference was tongue in cheek? No?

The way i'm interpreting the latest BBC article is that regardless of who knew what Whyte conducted a criminal deal. It's apparently illegal under any circumstances to secure funds using the assets of an entity which does not belong to you and that's indisputably what he did. If that's the case he has no way out no matter how much the Donald muddies the waters. -
Two goals in the first 16 minutes for Atletico. Now that's what you call a game changer. Game on.

JFK-1 replied to aweebluesoandso's topic in Rangers Chat
I just saw an article pointing out that the prosecution were now working to clarify that Whyte had secured and used ticketus money to seal the deal which in itself is apparently illegal. Only the owner of the club can conduct such transactions using a club asset like the season ticket sales and he was not the owner of the club when this deal was conducted. There is surely no way out of that for him. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-39868186 -
The season is pretty much done for us now that Europe has been secured so with that in mind i'm content for Wallace to take his time and come back fully recuperated and fresh for the Euro challenge. Would still like to see Niko get some pitch minutes before the dust settles.

Alongside agree and thanks we should have a boo tab for trolling remarks.

You may be right but it could prove to be a tempting offer for them. They may view the speed and strength of O'Halloran as a useful asset in their first SPL season after an absence and a million pounds to sweeten it is an impressive sum to all Scottish teams aside from one or two. His current value on transfer market is 468K https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jason-cummings/profil/spieler/209583 and I think he could be a 20+ goals a season man in our team. He might even be the spark required to get Garner up and running.
-
I could put aside any previous of Cummings if he could do a good job for us which I believe he can. Think back to Mo Johnston and his deliberately provocative crossing gestures then what he did when he came into the team. Cummings is probably even more of a wee bauchle than Mo ever was but I can put that aside for the good of the team. They would part with him for MOH and some cash.

I'm guessing Pedro grasps the vital importance of this. I read a few years or so ago that a run into the Europa league group stage even if finishing last in the group was worth an average minimum £8 million or so thus i'm guessing it's worth even more now. Enough to propel us comfortably ahead of the rest at this point while Ashley still bleeds us dry on other fronts. It's probably more money than the value of the entire squad right now. We really need it and it's going to be my entire focus and probably obsession until we get into a group. Anything further than the group stage would be a nice bonus but getting into the group at all is a win and could cement the reputation of Pedro which can only help all concerned.
