  1. Headline on the BBC football page. Fascinating how a dive is 'horrendous' but a potentially dangerous tackle is just a red card incident.
  2. We have been presented with an opportunity to end this often disappointing season on a real high that could eclipse all the bleak moments that have come before it starting from day one when we had the anti climax of the draw at home with Hamilton. If we can take the unmentionables twice in just 6 days knocking them out of the Scottish cup to end any treble dreams and an unbeaten league season it would almost make all the disappointments that came before worthwhile. And given all that has come before perhaps we're now in a better position than at any other time this term to pull off a grandstand finish to the season. We suddenly seem to have discovered how to rack up a few clean sheets and at the same time find the way to goal and with Pedro proving to be somewhat unpredictable the opposition can't set up for a match knowing that nothing about our approach will change over the 90 minutes. If we could pull off this grandstand finish with the above scenario and another slaughter of the sheep thrown in I will consider it a good season. A very good season considering that even in just the first quarter many nay sayers even among our own ranks were predicting a top 6 finish at best though I was never among them even in the darkest times. And if Ross County can make them toil as they did I have no doubt we can too. County had just 34% of the possession yet still almost matched them for shots on target with 5 to their 6 and also forced 4 corners to their 2. We're the best team they have faced in this league and we appear to have come good with a new manager at just the right time. We can do it.
  3. Interesting take on the Chelsea loss by the BBC. Hope Pedro was watching and takes some of it on board. Many points were made about the strategy employed but a short quote from it regarding top scorer and normally a first pick Ibrahimovic left warming the bench for this one. Might Dodoo be able to do that for us next week given the chance? Man Utd 2-0 Chelsea: A Jose Mourinho masterclass with a twist http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39617552
  4. The same people who had Bin Laden stashed in a compound barely a thousand yards from the countries top military academy and military centre then claimed to know nothing about it. In a location where nothing can move far less set up home without massive scrutiny. They were more embarrassed that the Americans were able to get in there undetected and kill him then get back out again than they were that it was revealed he was there.
  5. I could live like a King there and I don't have millions or anything like it. Average wage about 24 quid a week. i could have me a couple of gofers for 50 quid a week. With milions whole teams of them.
  6. As it stands Chelsea should still edge it but the chance to really blow it is indeed there. It looks as if Man U also have a last gasp chance to sneak into the top 4 and if they do I hope it's at the expense of City rather than Liverpool.
  7. Next week is a different kind of challenge and it will be interesting to see how he sets up for it. I'm glad he was in the stand at the last encounter which gave him a good first hand look at how they will set up against us which will likely be pretty much same again. If he can pull this off with some masterful strategy he will be well on the way to being fully accepted by even the most vociferous of doubters. And if he doesn't pull it off i'm not going to be one of those who claim it as evidence he's not up to the job. I'm obviously looking for a win and feel we can get it but if we don't get it in a match against a side that's been massively outspending us I wont turn around and say it's the managers fault.
  8. So everything that's said he disagrees with is just lies and the core of it is that will be pretty much everything that's said. I just wrote his entire twitter commentary for him even before he makes a tweet.
  9. Greater consistency is something i'm expecting to see from the outset next season. I expect the team to be stronger in key areas and while the sheep and heartz of this league basically stand still because they have no scope to be any better than they currently are we will ease back to a two horse race. Like everyone else I didn't know what to expect when Pedro came on board but even this early I'm beginning to like what I see in terms of his willingness to change and tweak mid match. I like seeing halftime substitutions because I had become somewhat disillusioned with the Warburton 60 minute plus subs. Started to feel as if that was often just too late for a player to get himself into it and change anything. And aside from that we're now beginning to see changes in shape during a match to take advantage of perceived opposition weaknesses which is also a huge difference from the Warburton strategy of just keep doing the same thing that we already know isn't working
  10. How many more things do they think they should take to UEFA? My pie at Fir Park had a fly in it. Call in UEFA? And all that after UEFA have already brushed them off in as polite a manner as possible as obsessed nutcases. The same UEFA who have sanctioned them repeatedly for their behaviour during UEFA competition. They're becoming so wacko that every little incident in a match has to merit a UEFA investigation. The screams are going to be deafening if they lose next week and any contentious decision goes in our favour. And in thinking of that I hope we do win on a contentious decision just to see all the hair pulled out lining their area of Hampden. These are people who have forgotten how lose with grace and move on. If they actually ever knew how.
  11. Do we really want broonaldo suspended for next week? Dim enough to always be a red card candidate.
  12. Lennon and his exuberant following have become accustomed to being among the top dogs in the championship. Next season when results and points are a lot harder to come by they're going to be brought back down to earth with an almighty bang. Expect them to quickly turn on him when that happens.
  13. Looking at it from the perspective of his form this year we may scarcely miss him. If someone wants to throw multi millions at us for him maybe it's time to take it and hopefully throw it into the Summer window pot.
  14. Slim Jim the betting man.
  15. Look for them to repeat the cup final antics on Saturday if they beat QoS to secure promotion because according to social media etc they're gearing up for a repeat. Seems they enjoyed the embarrassing rampage so much it's going to be a permanent fixture even for something so relatively unimpressive as getting out of the championship at the third attempt.
  16. Maybe it's more hope than conviction on my part but I get the feeling the sheep really can royally blow this. For example they're away to St Johnstone on Saturday followed by SJ again at home. St Johnstone are themselves still in with a chance of nicking a Europa league spot though I don't think that will happen but at worst they will want to finish 4th ahead of hearts so they have everything to play for and will go at it all guns blazing. They're more than capable of beating the sheep at home then battling to a scrappy draw at the sheep pen and the sheep will be beaten by the unmentionables. If all that came to pass you're looking at 8 dropped points right there plus we should whip them again at Ibrox. Depending on how Saturday pans out it might just be on. If they lose on Saturday and we win the panic button will be hit with a hammer. I'm struggling to decide whether I want the sheep to win or lose their semi because at this time I can't quite decide which of them I despise the most. Maybe go for a sheep loss to instigate more despair doom and gloom in the sheep pen before we get them at Ibrox. Then we demolish the exuberant ones in the final to exact revenge for last year.
  17. Of course if the sheep implode and we nick second the conspiracy against them is there for all to see in this split fixture list. Which to me isn't impossible and I certainly prefer our schedule to theirs.
  18. Seems he thinks we should be refereeing by crowd response. What fun that would be. Absolutely bound to result in fair decision making.
  19. Would have liked that but impractical for me at this time. Unless of course Trump decides in a midnight tweet that Scots are a fifth column and all have to be deported post haste.

    MOH no show

Saw this on a hearts forum under a topic called 'O'halloran worth a punt?' Always puzzles me what other 'level' the likes of them and the sheep think they can ever be on. Realistic title challengers? Never going to happen. Right now they are at their proper and permanent level and there is no realistic other 'level' they can aspire to. Being in the top 6 and trying to grab a Europa league spot is all they can aspire to. Leveled out.

  22. They're desperately trying to make people forget their recent humiliation at home and incidentally on the previous occasion we went there we went there we actually gave them even more of a beating in terms of of being outplayed than we did last week.
  23. Excellent, let's hope they make another spectacle of themselves spending all their hard earned giro's looking like obsessed wackos all over again.
  24. Yes. https://www.hsselite.com It's a download and subscription service. They have a variety of prices for certain time spans and I paid $19.99 US for 6 months to try it out. Works perfect for me. Sometimes it might not connect to the UK proxy and if it does that you need to clear out your cache because if you have a previous version of a page with a cookie from your actual location that's what it will go with. Clear out the cookies and try again and it will then connect to the UK proxy and you can watch iPlayer.
  25. I just watched it on iPlayer and an extremely distressing experience it was. Shattered dreams ruined lives and I can still put myself into the mindset of boys that young back in that era and grasp why they were so reluctant to tell their parents. A very difficult thing to raise with anyone far less parents during an era before this was an openly discussed topic. Then the other side of the coin aside from the distress of raising it with parents. If I talk about this will it end my dreams of being a professional footballer? The anger I feel towards these bastards is almost indescribable.
