  1. Absolute joke. The game featuring the best football is pretty much ignored well they blether on about a narrow win in a poor game of fottball for Celtic.
  2. Agree with that mate. However as Barry is on ayellow already I would rest him too so he doesn't miss the next UEFA tie by getting another booking.
  3. Fired off the following email: Bit petty and written in haste but I get tired of this kind of bullshit. The way they have represented this shows they are obviously pushing an agenda. The number of Brits is so fucking irrelevant to the Scottish national side and this has really made me angry.
  4. Too many Foreigners at the OF Law wants more Scots at Old Firm Rangers' Brahim Hemdani challenges Celtic's Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink Hemdani and Vennegoor of Hesselink are Old Firm foreigners Denis Law believes a growing number of foreigners at Celtic and Rangers is stifling home-grown talent. "That's a long story, but you do wonder, and Scottish football and the Scottish team is suffering," the former Scotland striker told Radio Five Live. "You don't really know why the Scottish youth has dried up, but in a way you've got to look at them not getting the opportunity and that's the problem." Law believes the Old Firm should be providing the backbone of the team. "You look at the Rangers team and the Celtic team, which a good part of the Scottish team was taken from, and basically there are so many foreign players in there that it's got to be very difficult," he said. Celtic fielded five players from outside the British Isles in their team to play Dunfermline Athletic on Saturday. Rangers had six foreign players in their line-up to take on Hibernian on Saturday. First off, as things are improving atboth clubs is this article about 5 years late? And are Hearts not the worst offenders now? On to the point anyway: This weekend's Celtic team: Boruc, Wilson, Balde, O'Dea, Naylor, Nakamura (Riordan 75), Lennon (Sno 88), Jarosik, McGeady, Miller, Zurawski (Gravesen 75). Subs Not Used: Marshall, Telfer, Pearson, O'Brien. Miller and Wilson, 2 scots starting. 1 on as a sub. Rangers Squad: McGregor, Hutton, Hemdani, Svensson, Smith, Sionko (Rae 79), Ferguson, Clement, Adam, Prso (Sebo 76), Novo (Buffel 84). Subs Not Used: Klos, Papac, Rodriguez, Stanger. 5 Scots stating with 1 on as a sub. Normally you would also have Boyd starting and prob Burke. How do the bbc report this? "Celtic fielded five players from outside the British Isles in their team to play Dunfermline Athletic on Saturday. Rangers had six foreign players in their line-up to take on Hibernian on Saturday" FUnny choice of words. Who gives a fuck about the number of brits in the squads. Law's point is about stifling Scottish talent. So the important numbers are 2 and 5. Yet the BBC deliberatley try and make us look like the worst offenders. Very strange.
  5. First line sums it up. We did to them what they have done to us in the games they have trounced us over the past few seasons.
  6. Don't like either of these fuds. Lennon and McGeady post Pars game

What a joy it was to watch Barry run that game yesterday. Absolutely dominated the Hibees midfield with the two hottest properties in Scottish football in his back pocket. Looks like he enjoyed it too: More of the same please. Jus wanted the excuse to post that pic. A fit Barry is easily the best player in the country.
  8. The only reason there second half was better was he earned the right to play out the second half of the game by steam rollering them and winning it in the first half. They did'nt improve so much as we stepped down a couple of gears. Also think he contradicts himself re Sproule. How can he say that you can't react like that on a yellow, but then say the ref got it wrong?
  9. Hemdani anyone? Can't beleive the criticism Svensson comes in for about his aerial ability when we have this non-tackling non-heading midfielder at the back.
  10. Absolute class post match interview yesterday.
  11. Barry out? Some people never cease to amaze me. Ran that game today. I think you're one of the guys who wanted Boyd dropped for Sebo as awell. Thank fuck you don't pick the team.
  12. I would hope not. If we're after a SPL CB, then put up the cash for Anderson as he is the best out there.
  13. Not a chance of him being sold imo.
  14. Parrallels with the Bernard signing. Why buy an old foreigner when we have a better youngster on the books?
  15. Fair do's. Can't really mind what led to Prso's overhead kick, but i'll take ur word for it.
  16. Cheers mate heard of inside men before, but half backs was a nw one.
  17. Elderslie what is a half-back? Am I too young for this term? Only heard it in Rugby before. Gazza, I have to be honest mate I don't remember Boyd missing any sitters before he scored, however he should've done better when Ford slipped on his arse. And Pete can't disagree with too much you said re Boyd. However Boyd is the best option we have in terms of striking options so we should start backing him.
  18. Agree JvoC Has hardly done fuck all, but Ferdinand toiled against him at OT so it shows he can produce momments of quality. Can't beleive how far backwards Gravesen has gone since Everton. Thought he was class for the Toffees.
  19. A cracker, but still think he's a bit of a fud.
  20. Where does this blind faith in Sebo come from? He's done nothing to justify it whereas Boyd is the most prolific goalscorer in the country. Maybe he does just score goals and doesn't always look a team player, But Sebo appears able to do neither. Ok he's not had a lot of game time, but frankly when he struggles to trap a ball does he deserve any?
  21. It didn't just disrupt the left tho. The entire team pretty much fell apart.
  22. Gotta get the fans off his back, and there definitely seems this is slowly happening.

    Hutton

Wee bit disappointed that he struggled tonight. I would definitely say there was more bad than good. The main reason i'm disappointed though is that it gives all the fans who like to bash our players the opportunity to put the boot in. First bad game in 4 or 5 I think.
  24. I'm in two minds atm, obviously I'm ecstatic we're through and a draw away in Franc, can't complain. However defensively we were a shambles. Don't wanna say too much more about the performance atm tbh. Would just depress me. As some of the others have said just enjoy the momment.
  25. I'd take Anderson for the first. As for the second . Brown as that abttling quality, he's a winner, but i'd say he's got more attacking instinct when we just need a ball winner.
