  1. Looking at that formation, I don't think the wide players, Burke and Adam, have the engine or ability to cover the flanks. Would probably prefer Hutton and Smith, although that weakens the attacking threat. Don't think i'd go 3-5-2, but Smith has utilised 3 at the back before.
  2. I'm undecided. But if he can get a run of games under his belt i'll be happy.
  3. Aye, but I thought if you made it past this round you got a bonus to your co-efficient, or maybe its the next round? (Or maybe i'm talking balls.)
  4. Dunno about them, but certainly wouldn't be as far behind. Agree with your point though.
  5. Unsure on this one. I'll watch him a few games and see how he fairs with general fitness and his pace. Speed could be a big worry for me. As I say though, assess him after a few more games.
  6. Surely the fairest option is to promote the fourth based club into this round to play Spurs. Or have Spurs just boosted tehre co-efficient for f.a?
  7. Jammie bastards, inot the last 16. WIsh I wasn't one of the ones wanting to avoid Feyenoord now.
  8. Saw that on sky sports website. Australian midfielder playing for PSV. Probably not a regular there by the sounds of it. Agent touting him as having a bit of dig and will chip in with goals. I personally know nothing about him. Edit went and found the link http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=443875&CPID=14&clid=67&lid=7&title=Gers+linked+with+PSV+move&channel=& Re-edit: Weir wants to extend his stay. Source Skysports website. You'll easily be able to find the story from the link above. Reckons he can play till he's 40.
  9. I'll have a look next time. Gotta be better than FF.
  10. I see your point. But reading about his career since he left them hasn't filled me with confidence. Off playing for some average swiss team I beleive, albeit as captian. (Or possibly vice-captain i forget) I was enjoying laughing at them for signing our rejects.
  11. Ta, was just wondering about updating bookmarks. Glad we're up and running again. About 99% of FFers were doing my nut in.
  12. Are the old web addresses defunct then?

    Rumour

Where has this Severin and Foster stuff come from?
  14. You're right, it prob will be those two filling in the spaces. Its just out of the dross in the team, they are the two spots i'm most worried about at the momment.
  15. If your pro Burns can you perhaps comment on the points I made about the last time he embarassed our country?
  16. No thanks. Didn't impress last time I saw him. Would still prefer Anderson, buts stil beleive thats a non starter unfortunately.
  17. McGregor Hutton Svensson ????? Murray Burke Fergie ????? Adam Boyd Prso Assuming Clement and Smith are inured. (Is Sionko out too?). Tbh with the way we are atm i'm not really sure who i'd play as the second CB and Cm.
  18. I would hope Burns would go to, but I expect he'll take it on for the next few games. The man cannot be trusted to manage the national teams affairs after the Sweden debacle. We got gubbed 4-1, the 1 coming from the penalty spot that was probably given out of sympathy. Soft as anything. He randomly brought int Marshall who was rarely playing, if at all and Pearson who wasn't kicking a ball in anger either. How can guys who were no where near playing for their club sides be brought straight into teh national team starting line up. The examples of naymsith are different because he was genuinely the best player available who already had a lot of experience of international football. (Beleive there may have ben a third random call up but can't remember off the top of my head now.) The man cannot be trusted because he wont pick the best players for Scotland but try and do his club side a favour instead. Absolute scum bag imo.
  19. Very good post mate. Hard to disagree with any of that.
  20. Aye very good mate. Anyway on FF there's a few adamant I am Lawrence Mcintyre for posting the same post as here and infroming them of the wee snippet heard regards moving the Hapoel game to Cyprus. About 4 threads have sprung up about it now. Some fans don't appreciate getting info they otherwise wouldn't have had. I gave them a source, a pretty damn good one (a club official) and still many don't beleive me. It's not liek i've ever posted rumour on there before.
  21. A friend of mine (a poster from this board) rang me today to see if I fancied going down to Ibrox to se WS being unveiled. Being a lazy student, with no classes today I agreed. Despite warning my mate that I didn't beleive he would be at Ibrox. (Needed to pick up a top from the Club shop anyway so didn't mind). Anyway we waited outside in the relative cold for a good hour, from about 14.50. An old boy in a club tie/blazer regulalry came out to chat to the fans and let them know what was going on. We were stood too far awya to know what was going on, but if the people being spoken to where hanging about then we assumed it woldn't be long. Anyway asked a fellow fan and he confirmed WS would be on his way after Murray Park's media scrum. After aproximately an hour, Lawrence McIntyre (at least I think it was him) came out to give us the news that all business was to be completed at Murray Park. I was a bit miffed by this, but the McIntrye asked if we'd all been on the tour before inivting us all into the stadium to go out through the tunnel. Well I've never been on the tour so getting to go in through the front door, seeing the inside of Ibrox, going out through the tunnel, sitting on the home bench and having my picture taken where the media do post match interviews.... loved it. just wanted to say that maybe LM isn't as bad as all make out. You can only go on your own experiences and from mine he was a decent bloke. Had a wee joke on the pitch that we couldn't tell anyone or we'd ruin his reputation. Far play to the guy. He has a sense of humour too. Also one fan asked him if it was true the Hapoel tel-aviv game would be played in Cyprus to which LM confirmed probably after he "kicked up hell at the meeting on monday". (Not a direct quote but words to that effect). Good on him again, actuallly protecting the Rangers fans for once, despite previous form of which I do not know about.
  22. Certainly agree with that, impressed by his conduct there, if not his ability. Shocker that we've made another loss on a player.
  23. Definitely agree with this. Brings me back to the old cliche no man (PLG) is bigger than the club. New manager, PLG gone. SO back the Gers.
  24. How good does this look? http://www.rangers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Match/ActionShots/0,,5~962892,00.html
