Don't know if I can agree that we didn't play well in Seville, while we may not have dominated or passed them off the park, you have to remember who we're playing against. You don't win in Spain if you don't play well, as our history attests.

Gaizka Mendieta is the best midfielder I've seen at Ibrox, absolutely bossed us and looked as if he hardly broke sweat.

Absolutely, you don't need pace to get yourself into goal scoring positions, we've been sucked in before to buying fast, when in most of our games it does nothing for us, teams sitting in negates it's effectiveness. He's not the messiah, no one's saying he is, but he'd be an upgrade on what we have now. 'Someone from the club will be telling him the fans will love it.' PC doesn't strike me as a manager who would invest in what fans think. Fans want success, that'll be his driver.

Ridvan and Cifuentes performing like that on a cold, towsy night at swinecastle is a big positive.

£5.70 isn't much more than your average city centre bar. Not really comparable though, price of a pint in the hydro or murrayfield is a more legitimate comparison.
