  1. Boyd is not only our best goalscorer and the country's best goalscorer; he's also been our best forward in terms of his general play this season. As such, there is absolutely no reason why he shouldn't play tonight if he's fully fit. FWIW, I think he's a certainty to start.
  2. Bougherra has disrespected the club not one, not twice but on three separate occasions now. Despite being given leave of absence twice during these international trips for an extra day off, he still couldn't make it back in time to ensure he prepared properly for our next match. Remember, we're his employer - not the Algerian FA - and he earns a five figure weekly sum plus bonuses for the privilege of playing for our club. In an era where money is tight for our club and results crucial for our survival and while our fans battle through a recession, increasing unemployment and huge fuel/ticket costs just to attend a game at Ibrox, the converse uncaring attitude of this mercenary makes me sick. There is no way he should play tonight and unless he makes a public apology to his colleagues and the fans, he shouldn't play for us again. Let's see if his attitude changes when he's not playing and Algeria suddenly start to question his worth/fitness for South Africa next summer. Unfortunately, as touched on above, our club's financial problems means that preferable course of action is unlikely - even if he doesn't play tonight.

  24. Fair points mate... It's just that when they talk about unity, your post/article on here (and elsewhere) last week could have been a good opportunity to get in touch with these olive branches we keep hearing about. However, like you, I'm happy enough they've taken your idea and developed it where upon it can reach a wider audience.
