  1. I think they should have told you a week before they changed the agreed giving you a chance to decline the payment. But it will be in the T&C's saying prices may change and they reserve the right to do so as long as they inform you at the earliest possible opportunity.
  2. To be fair it wasn't the most exciting game in the world and considering you've not been out much lately, one has to take the opportunity to fuel up ahead of an evening with 'er indoors...
  3. Aye I thought it was terrible Barry and my 2 mates leaving... I stayed to the end though as I can control my alcohol urges unlike the other cider maniacs... Never though bmck would be in the Subway Loyal...
  4. We started so slowly today. Seemed right off the pace. Frown However, we still managed to get an early goal through Bardsley's excellent strike. After that we grew in confidence and strength and started to play some nice football. Clement, Burke and Hemdani all came into the game and it was a great run and cross from the latter that set up an easy finish for Prso. The 2nd half we again started slowly but a great pass from the returning Ferguson resulted in a clear cut penalty and red card no more action from the ref. Fine finish from what was a subdued Boyd. 4th goal was the pick of the bunch. A smashing run from Buffel and an explosive finish from a guy who couldn't score in a brothel in the early games. After that both Sebo (deployed wide right again) and Boyd wasted good opportunities to score more. Man of the match was Bardsley who really was solid at the back. Thought big Svensson played very well and he made 2 crucial tackles in the 2nd half - still needs to improve in the air though. Midfield were strong as usual and Prso had a superb shift up front once more. It really is exciting to have so many options and if he can improve in the air at the back then we'll be very hard to beat this season. Some of our football is superb at times but we can fall out of games and/or lack urgency as well which needs to be sorted. However, having so many younger players means inconsistency is likely so it will be good to bring in experienced players if required. A tough month ahead but off to a solid start and it really is like night and day from last season's awful fare. (PS: Visit the new wee Rangers club if you get a chance. Mo Ross and his business partner Victor have done a great job of doing the place up and it was a good laugh for a few hours before the game.) (PPS: Bill Struth = legend!)
  5. Frankie

    Its official

    Looks great...
  6. Supposedly a fine young midfielder. Killie were gutted to lose him from us in the summer for a nominal fee.
  7. No, it will stay up for another month or so...
  8. He certainly has a short memory. So far a few results may have been disappointing but we have been playing better football this season than anytime in the last 4 years. Once we start to take our chances and once the new defence develops an undertstanding, the initial panic from folk like Dunn will soon subside. Lots to look forward to. Just don't expect it to happen overnight.
  9. Yeah, wee Novo might still get the odd game but he's clearly a player who thrives on confidence and not getting a regular game will mean he won't improve. I'm also a bit disappointed by our lack of depth in central defence but I;d rather be like this than waste £30K per week on the likes of another Fanfan and Bernard.
  10. Novo hasn't been paid off. He's a player we can get a fee for so I doubt we'll free him.
  11. Dunn - calm down. You've not even seen Papac play yet and well all know Malcolm, Andrews and Fanfan were not good enough. Let's wait a wee bit longer than the end of August before making judgements on players and management.
  12. Welcome aboard mate...
  13. Exactly nokiss...
  14. How can you form opinions when you're snoring loudly, ian?
  15. As I said yesterday, if people post crap threads without genuine sources then theybwill be closed. Kris Boyd is currently training with the Scotland team and has just signed a new contract extension with Rangers. He won't be going anywhere.
  16. This story isn't true in the slightest. If people are going to post daft rumours, name a source/link or the thread will be closed.
  17. Nice one...
  18. Just you guys buy you what you deem best. You have done all the hard work, so you decide. A decent holdall for the new flag sounds ideal.
  19. We certainly need another centre half to give us depth and competition in that area. We must move on the wasters though if we're to spend another few million (which in itself is unlikely).
  20. I did stutter a few times. But it's not easy when one hasn't been on the radio before or has no idea of what questions will be put to you. And I'm certainly not wee...
  21. If you go forward 5 mins from the very start then it will take you right to my call... Have just been on BBC Radio Ulster as well.
  22. RE: Boruc incident... You can listen to me via the BBC Radio Scotland Listen Again feature.... It was the Morning Extra programme. http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/radioscotland/
  23. Totally correct Gribz... The OTT criticism in some places is laughable. Another decent footballing performance but once again a lack of clinical finishing from some players means we drop 2 crucial points. In the main, most of the players did pretty well. Have to say I don't feel the same sense of disappointment as I did last season when we dropped points. For the most part we look pretty good and I actually thought we did OK at the back. Unfortunately, we do seem to panic under pressure and once again we lose a goal because of a goalkeeping error. However, points make prizes. It's funny the criticism aimed at Hutton. I thought he had a decent game. I rate Smith highly but both goals came from Killie play down his side (the first corner for the first goal and the second goal). The first goal was also a dreaful mistake by the goalie. Yet no criticism for them? It's all Hutton's fault who had another decent game and could do nothing at the penalty. In the first 5 games of the season we've played the best football (apart from the Pars game) than I've seen since the 2002/03 season. Yes, the results have been poor but it's a new manager, a new team and a new system. Have faith and stop being so childishly fickle, FFS.
  24. Good and funny post... Fat Eck can write some decent stuff when he wants. A slight return to form.
  25. Pete we are getting our bed in order. Our fans have been superb this season and our alleged offensive songs and chants have disappeared home and away going by the last few games. Can you say the same for Celtic, their fans and even their senior players of late? No. Which is why I'm making the point of loss. No-one is winning here while one party are being villified and the other party getting off scot-free. We gave in and we're fixing our problems. And we're still the offenders.
