  1. Preferably players going mental, manager channeling/managing it properly and the offending players taking it on the chin like men. Shit like this happen all the time. Manage it properly.
  2. Like it or not, Murty is the full time manager at this moment time. He has to play the game as if he is the long term manager. That means sanctions on his players when required. It seems that this has been coming, and he is probably right to do this, assuming the paper has got it right. It doesn't mean that he has got the job long term though.
  3. I cannot believe we have lost 6 of our past 20 and still sit third in that form chart!!! How can we fail to win the league next season with a slight improvement.
  4. My First thought was Candias and McCrorie, but on reflection, id go with Candias and Morelos. Incidentally my brother in law will be at the dinner. I know it means bugger all to you but he just told me and I'm just saying ?
  5. We should start the star stripping campaign. I'm sure we'd get support from our friends around the SPFL. ?? Start a Go Fund Me page ??
  6. I'm a bit younger so my memories don't kick in until the early 80's and I love the idea of documenting something like you have here. I will get my thinking cap on. I did keep a diary of one entire season when we had Gazza and Laudrup playing. I wrote a wee bit about each game, gave a man of the Match and slotted the Match ticket into the page. I'm sure I could get something from that, although that's back home in Oz and we are in Scotland at the moment so might need to wait a while for that.
  7. If those two tweets are true there we I'll be a minutes silence and a minutes applause? I've got to say I am looking forward to this one. I'm back in the hood for a holiday and will be back at Ibrox with my dad and brother in-law. I'm choosing to ignore the worries about form to just get that feeling of being at Ibrox.
  8. If Brenda goes this summer and Clark goes to them, how will you feel?
  9. Sorry I misunderstood you when you said “We’ve closed the gap.”
  10. If we had come out in the second half, or even after the red card, and had 15 shots, 10 on target, hemmed them in and been wondering why the hell we never won, I’d have been happier. Instead, I’m pissed off that they effectively gave us the ball, said “come ahead “ and contained us to between the 18 yard line and halfway.
  11. I’m no saying that we haven’t improved. Of course we have. But even in terms of quality I still think there is a gap. Maybe only a small one that a couple of good buys in the summer will fix. Established international players like McArthur, maybe Davis, Id have had Berra before Martin, but Martin might turn out to be good.
  12. I don’t agree we have closed the gap. We haven’t beaten them over 90 minutes in f***ing ages! They beat us with 10 men at Ibrox. We are going to be 12 points behind. There is still a gap!
  13. I think we didn’t show up for the entire second half...... that goal on the stroke of half time smashed our bottle!
  14. Sometimes I despair when I see Windass with the number 11 on his back. He certainly doesn’t look like he will become anything close to Coop or Laudrup! You are right about quality. Docherty looks the part though.
  15. I hope they do ‘strengthen’ in the summer. Rogers is shite in the transfer market. Cham is ordinary, his defender from Germany wasn’t quoted today (injured dud), and it looks like he’ll sell Dumbell to do it. Rogic will go too. He is by far their best player.
  16. Not a chance he will be dropped. And as always, he's going down as my FGS.
  17. I have tried this quiz a few times and this is the best I've ever done. 10/15
  18. Two pages of a thread about a potential new player and not one mention of how good or bad the boy is. Who cares what he's called or what religion he is or..... Sydney FC has been the force in Australia for a couple of years now and this boy is a huge part of that success. Yes it's Australia, but he is a half decent player. Not A great deal of difference between him and Jack actually, though maybe more like Stuart McCall in style. At a cut price, worth a punt. He has a great chance of being at the World cup so if he shines there, then the price goes up. He hasn't broken into the full international squad yet but it looks a certainty, especially if he moves to Europe.
  19. Let the games begin. Got to love the posturing. Murty might know that he won't have Goss next season but he's talking up the player for a bit of psych in the next few games. Holloway might know that we have already declared a formal interest and is playing to the QPR gallery. Murty might be going public to boost the player's confidence........ It's all good fun.
  20. Telling the manager is not the right thing to do. Telling the captain is the right thing to do. The captain can tell his manager if he wants.
  21. Sorry, I've not read much of this thread, but I just wanted to note a few things and hear your thoughts. 1. Hearts really thought they'd take points away from Ibrox on Saturday. Are teams still underestimating us? 2. Our bench was strong. Are the days of wholesale changes a thing of the past or might we lose a lot of the loanees and our top players and get the likes of Pena back? 3. I saw the whole game as-live on Sunday morning without knowing the score and it looked like we were all over them. Were they crap or were we good? I thought we were a good 7/10. 4. Morelos still misses too many chances.
  22. Depends what their targets and KPI's were. Nothing to do with bottom line I suspect. No worries for me. Keep up the good work.
  23. Just a thought, Hardie is only 9 months younger than Morelos.
  24. Theres not a support in the world who is entirely satisfied with the state of their team, in general that is. For example many Man City fans are talking up the quadrouple but that has raised doubts and theres a feeling is a lot of those quarters that Barca and Real Madrid are too strong. Real Madrid fans are already worried about Zidane. Pessimism, or at least tempered optimism is part of being a football supporter. Especially when you’ve gone through what we’ve gone through. I understand the fact that some are reluctant to get too carried away. Personally im in the tempered optimism camp. The top 4 in the league are exactly the same in terms of form in the past 5 games, three wins, a draw and a defeat, but i think we had a good transfer window so that bodes well, when the new gyus start to gel, things could start to motor for us. meanwhile i still think they are on the slide. And um notvworried at all about Aberdeen and Hibs. They will revert to type soon enough. Too arrogant? Or honest?
