Official: Full capacities back from Monday but with restrictions

I doubt they have the self-awareness required for trolling. -
Tough decision - for the right reasons for a change. Solid in defence, fluid in midfield, creative in attack. I thought about voting for Kamara, who finally stopped trying to slow our tempo and had a really good game, but who could deny Scott Wright on a day when he lit up Ibrox. Seems no time since he was a kid playing football in our local village park ... it's not often someone you know becomes a local hero.

The public doesn't 'deserve' any investigation and least of all the truth. The public insists on voting for people who piss all over it year after year. The public swallows every political fantasy set in front of it. The public is greedy, shortsighted and tribal. The public is beyond stupid and deserves exactly what it gets. -

All taxation is theft by deceit. No one has ever asked me if I'd like to pay tax or consulted me on what it would be used for. I have no control over how much of my earnings will be stolen from me, no control over when it's taken and no control over what it's used for. Worse, the harder I work and the more I earn, the greater the proportion that's stolen. When my stolen money is wasted or misspent, I have no recourse and the misuse usually results in having even more of my money appropriated. I have money stolen when I earn it, when I spend it and when I save it. I can even look forward to being robbed posthumously when I die. I'm not even free to spend what is left as I might like to - I can't buy a gun, I can't change a listed building, I can't build a still in my shed, I can't even buy spiked nunchucks ffs. Not that I particularly want to buy spiked nunchucks. Beyond a minimum fund for agreed community use, taxation is the biggest confidence trick of all. The saddest thing is to see how taxation is conflated with morality in the minds of the particularly stupid who, I'm afraid to say, are oblivious to being farmed like the cattle they are. Basically, we now spend our entire lives on a treadmill, providing resources for a very small elite. It's socialism on steroids. Can you imagine what "life" will be like 50 years from now. -

I experienced the bastard side of HMRC once or twice in business but it was just "probing" - testing the water - and went away when they got the right responses. The incompetent part was harder to deal with since there was enormous reluctance to admit any errors and certainly never a willingness to address any loss their incompetence might have caused. It paid to communicate through a good accountant. -

For me this has always had the smell of more than incompetence. There's no doubt HMRC is capable of some appalling misjudgements but this was so specifically directed and so sustained that I believe it was carefully targeted for reasons other than just recovering unpaid taxes. I think this was an opportunistic attempt to bury Rangers, conducted by our "cultural enemies". -

I think we have two Kamaras on our books. One of them is fluid, sharp and effective in transitioning the ball to the attacking players. The other one, the one we've selected these last few weeks is hesitant, cautious, slows down play and can only function in a more withdrawn role where he has the constant option of safe passes backwards or sideways. We need to get rid of this guy and keep only the better Kamara. We also seem to have two Hagis.... the dysfunctional winger and the creative advanced midfielder. I was interesting that GvB decided to play them both on Saturday but declined to field them at the same time. -
A good watch. I’m fanned if it was a penalty for their second.

We certainly won't see it if we don't put him on the park. He's played well recently but he did look off his game yesterday, along with a few others. If we dropped everyone who turned in poor performances there would be very few to choose a team from. Besides, Wright and Sakala are not replacements for Hagi. -
Tough call this week. Defence looked unsure and too often either punted hopeless long balls or slowed the game to a crawl while they made pointless passes among themselves. Central midfield invariably reverted to sucking the tempo out of every attack for long periods. Credit to Kent and an oddly out of sorts Hagi who both tried to be positive. I thought Alfredo did particularly well but it was usually when he deserted his central striker beat, where he wasn't going to score many goals. I voted for Scott Wright who showed what pace and positivity can do to stubborn defences and frankly lit up a dull and frustrating game. If we're going to play someone wide on the right then Wright is the obvious choice and not Hagi, who only looked comfortable when he was eventually moved into a more central role.

If our professional football players are upset by people leaving early then they’re really not very professional at all. I’ve never understood all the fretting over people leaving before full time. The only ones who see this as an issue are the anally retentive amongst us who think everyone else should be like them. -

Playing Hagi out wide when Wright is on the bench and we’re desperate for a creative central midfielder is beyond stupid. Some poor experimentation today. The entire team looked confused about what was being asked of them. Thankfully we got away with it in the end -
Too many stray passes and lost possession have tarnished Kamara's performances in recent weeks. He's doing OK but isn't achieving the heights expected of him.

Perhaps the relationship between King and Gerrard is worth consideration. Were certain things promised to the new manager by the then chairman that were unwise or at least inappropriate given COVID, etc? Is this at the root of King’s current manoeuvrings? Has King’s pride been hurt by what he considers to be broken promises? I think you have to see King’s latest moves in terms of Gerrard’s departure. I’m obviously speculating but it looks like they are closely linked.
-
Surely you can only make that sort of statement if you DID know what went on. It was clear to anyone with eyes to see that there was conflict in the camp long before Gerrard and his staff left us. The fact that the team responded so positively to their departure confirms to me that any issue was mainly confined to the dressing room.

Hagi for me. Whereas some of our players suck the energy from our play by slowing everything down, I felt Hagi was instrumental in achieving a better tempo. He's inventive, committed and industrious.
