  1. Just one more example of shithole Scotland
  2. There was only really Davis. At times it looked like we were playing with a one-man midfield.
  3. It’s a long time since we saw Tav have such a feckless performance. Or both fullbacks put in so many poor crosses.
  4. It’s half times like this when you need a Jock Wallace to address the team and a first aid squad to patch them up for the second half. We’re not losing because we’re not good enough. We’re losing because our attitude is rank rotten.
  5. Surprising lack of energy throughout the team so far. Only Davis showing interest in midfield. Kamara and Aribo haven’t left the dressing room yet. Needs to be a massive arse kicking at half time.
  6. Sadly I haven’t a scooby and it’s not for the want of trying ?

  8. I can't see any way to post audio files - perhaps this is a deliberate restriction but, if not, is there any way to post an audio file (mp4 or similar) without converting to a video file via the likes of YouTube (which in any case I don't know how to do). Can anyone help?
  9. Are you using Safari on your Mac? If so, go to Safari preferences and select passwords - you should find the Gersnet password you've been using listed there. Sorry, just noticed you said your Mac has packed in so I guess that's not what you're now using to log in. Apologies.

    League Table

Would you deny us the usual get-carried-away-then-fuckup-then-panic ritual? ?
  11. It looks like Dave King was right. There's no longer much point being coy about where this league title is heading (I know, I know) and it has utterly destroyed them. The chances of Celtic taking anything from Almondvale are small. The chances of them finishing second are receding. For every Rangers fan that has waded through the shit of the last 9 years, what we are experiencing is nothing short of catharsis. This is our deliverance. Don't waste a moment of it, no group of supporters deserves it more.
  12. Don’t know what all the gloating is about. Celtic has clearly steadied the ship and is now unbeaten at home in 2021.
  13. I could well be wrong but I thought Kamara had often been playing a more advanced role recently. At the same time Zungu has often come on as a late sub in a more defensive role to protect a lead. I think they both operate most effectively as progressive midfielders and naturally compete in that sense. Jack seems to me to be more of an alternative to Steve Davis, albeit a better defender. That said, your comment about depending on who we’re playing is obviously important. ?
  14. There’s something deeply pathetic about the ongoing narrative that football players can only be expected to “do their best” to curb celebration contact, when (rightly or wrongly) the rest of the country is expected to change its be social behaviour at a minute’s notice. Why do we cosset and indulge these players like children being protected from responsibility.
  15. Kris Boyd seems to be singlehandedly challenging decades of media formula that says “Celtic good, Rangers bad, the rest shit”.
  16. Only if Zungu is outperforming him. I don't see how Jack and Kamara should be vying for the same slot in the team.
  17. The concern for the SFA XI is touching. Let's hope this alliance with Scotland's football authorities is as precious when they declare the season null and void to stop us winning "Celtic's title". I'm sure Ryan Jack would be quite happy extending his Rangers career at the expense of Rod Petrie's team.
  18. https://talksport.com/football/817645/scotland-had-enough-celtic-demote-them-scottish-league-two-demands-adrian-durham/ A lot is going wrong for Celtic this season on and off the pitch And Celtic have hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons due to matters off the pitch lately. They’ve been embroiled in a war of words with the Scottish Government after it was decided the players and coaching staff would go on a warm weather training trip to Dubai as the UK entered its latest coronavirus lockdown. They were without a number of first-team players – as well as manager Neil Lennon – for their first match back in Scotland due to one positive COVID test in the squad, and they subsequently drew the game with Hibs earlier this week. And there’s been more bad press for the Scottish champions as it emerged the club’s Under-18 side have now been furloughed. Celtic’s chief executive Peter Lawwell has since admitted that the controversial trip to Dubai was a ‘mistake’ but Durham thinks the club hasn’t been taught an appropriate lesson. The talkSPORT host believes Celtic should be DEMOTED to Scottish League Two, something their Glasgow rivals Rangers had to do in 2012 after experiencing crippling financial problems. Responding to former Hoops striker Andy Walker’s suggestion Celtic are ‘out of touch’, a furious Durham said: “So out of touch. “And if you don’t think you’re not hearing correctly, it is correct. After a 200 grand trip to Dubai, for a bunch of losers to laugh in the face of a Scotland that has been decimated by COVID, Celtic are now getting the taxpayer to pay for their youth squad. “In the meantime, Rangers have opened up Ibrox as a vaccination centre! “Am I right in thinking Scotland has had enough of Celtic Football Club? In the whole scheme of things, what Celtic are doing now is far, far worse, far more insulting to the fans and to football and to the whole nation than anything Rangers did nine years ago. “So wouldn’t it be just fitting, wouldn’t it be right, to demote Celtic to Scottish League Two after all this nonsense? “Punish them for bringing the game into disrepute, showing contempt for the very people whose money keeps the club going in normal times. “Who’s with me? Demote Celtic to Scottish League Two, are you with me, Darren [Gough, Durham’s co-host]? It’s disgraceful behaviour from what’s meant to be a big football club.” Goughie agreed with Durham that it was ‘disgraceful’ from Celtic, but doesn’t believe they should go all the way down. Rangers fans may take less persuading, however…

  20. I think it's inevitable Ryan Jack will stop playing international football, either because he chooses to do so or because he is playing so little club football that he becomes unselectable. When you think forward beyond the summer when some players like Kamara may move on, it's vital that Jack is managed to play as many games as possible for Rangers.
  21. The courage of these victims is humbling
  22. I'd say unlikely but what a move it would be for Alfie.
