The only players I'd take from that team would be Bougherra and Jelavic.

Sunday was disappointing, not disastrous. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Our results since Xmas have been a massive improvement on last January. Our performances have been classic January/February fare. Few in this team have any experience of winning titles, they will soon. Hamilton in early February will be long forgotten when the league trophy is held aloft. -

Sturgeon's Scotland in a nutshell. How can you possibly have a malicious prosecution without a criminal offence being committed. -

There's a strong impression that you think we're the finished article and are somehow malfunctioning for whatever reason. Whereas the truth is we're very much still a work in progress ... with major upheaval coming in the summer transfer window. Or maybe you just wanted to get in another dig at "untouchable" Ryan Kent. We dropped 2 points, sometimes it happens. -

Pretty much what you get on pitches like this. Kent is doing well but often far too deep. Too little control of the ball in midfield, too few options up front. Need Jack on for Aribo and Kent further forward. -

This entire affair is like Scotland in miniature - a hog wallow of corruption, patronage and collusion. When a Lord Advocate admits his justice system is maliciously prosecuting people, it's clear that legal process in Scotland can no longer be trusted. When a Scottish Government doesn't instigate an independent enquiry into abuses by its justice system, it implicates Govt Ministers in the corruption of justice. Then you have a First Minister who spends months squirming away from an enquiry into her own possible corruption. Effectively, Scotland is tantamount to a failed state, where the organs of state are actively flouting the law and colluding to maintain power by corruption. They've done this to our country in a few short years and they won't ever stop. -

You got that right Gonzo. There are however two sides to this. It's one thing to have a negative opinion of a player like Ryan Kent (although God knows why). It's another thing altogether to continually express that opinion for no practical purpose other than to indulge one's own ill-will towards the player. When this is done repeatedly, it goes beyond simply expressing an opinion, it becomes an exercise in trying to sell that opinion. As a supporter, that's wholly acceptable when it's a positive opinion. When the opinion is negative, it simply becomes destructive. Sometimes the denial of this is as good a guide as any to the truth of it. Personally, I'm in footballing heaven right now. The journey has been hugely painful for me and these wonderful days are healing a lot of hurt. Why any Rangers supporter would prefer to wallow in negativity at this time is beyond me. -

That's a very positive team selection. If we settle early StJohnstone will have a tough defensive shift ahead of them. Is that the first time Hagi, Roofe and Kent have started? -
Strange. A Gersnet topic to discuss Celtic games. No thanks.

"an independent, judge-led enquiry" Not something the SNP will ever allow. It would be like cutting all their own threats simultaneously. -

I agree, Helander has to be kept. No one can complain when Balogun gets a starting place in the team but he's five years older than Helander and needs to be sold now if we're going to get decent money. I think sending Katic out on loan for a spell is a given. -

The time for protest is over Celtic. The time of suffering has now arrived. For all your empty boasts, for all your tainted titles, for all your delusions of superiority ........ lie down and grunt.
