On the other hand Kamara is a complete imposter, Morelos a mere shadow of the player we used to watch and while Sakala eventually came on to a game, his first half was so utterly atrocious as to prevent any chance of a MOTM vote. I thought Leon King has improved since his last run in the team, which I put down to growing self-confidence ... or Souttar.

Getting new players in early and starting the new season (pre-season) with the squad virtually intact is probably important in achieving a decent start.

Fans might think like that but if you're a player leaving Rangers on £15,000/week and rocking up at Burnley for £50,000/week I think most players would think they've made progress. Anyway, that's not the point, which is that calling other clubs "shit" is just daft.

I say old boy, you've got that all wrong. The real money is in Russia, where kidneys tend to be high demand, for obvious reasons.

He represented Poland 24 times at u21 and younger, so someone thought he had abilities at least on a par with his peers in Poland. Presumably, someone at Rangers also thought the guy had ability or why sign him. The issue here is what went wrong and why. There's no doubt he has lost his way and it may or may not be recoverable but, since none of us appears to know what actually went on, I see no reason to believe MB shouldn't try.

There's no doubt about it, I will miss Allan McGregor and Scotty Arfield. They may have come to the end of their road at Rangers but both absolutely knew what it was to play for this club and both leave with pride and reputation intact. Thanks for the memories.
