  1. Aberdeen 2 Rangers 2 FGS - Sakala
  2. Or you can make it worse by actively giving false comfort to those who you know at the outset want nothing more than to damage your cause. Is there anyone here who honestly believes the BBC will act more honestly and more impartially because Rangers fans participate in a Sportsound discussion? Good luck with that. Time, as always, will tell.
  3. Damn that's an idea though. πŸ˜‰
  4. It's quite a leap of faith to expect a fair platform from the BBC, especially as at least one item from a Rangers perspective will be to point to grossly unfair coverage by the BBC itself. It's not Gersnet I doubt but the BBC. It's just my opinion but I would stay as far away from them as possible, otherwise you've every chance of becoming the BBC's useful .... well you know what I mean.
  5. A better question would be ... why would you?
  6. πŸ‘ I was just thinking out loud. Any price would depend on circumstances.
  7. πŸ˜‚ I'd want a fairly spectacular rate of return to sit on an investment for 25 bloody years πŸ˜‚
  8. Storms in teacups are always difficult to understand.
  9. Directors of companies buy and sell shares every day. It's not insider trading but there are strict rules about when directors can trade shares in their own company and how transaction must be declared.
  10. Exactly so.
  11. Unless it was converting loans to equity, which still seems unclear. Or if there was a perceived need to have a minimum percentage of shares in favour of accepting an offer. I expect to see more relatively small allotments in coming months. If this isn't a loans-to-equity deal then something is clearly going on and being kept at a level that won't spook the asking price. To answer you point, it would otherwise be a lot of risk for absolutely zero benefit.
  12. If you were a shareholding director with privileged access to new allotments of shares ... AND you were privy to information about a prospective offer to buy Rangers, knowing that such an offer would almost certainly value the club at more than 25p per share, then wouldn't you be keen to top up your personal shareholding too? I know I would.
  13. Personally, I have no problem with this new seatsub arrangement and despite the vitriol and mock outrage, no one here has given a single good reason why it shouldn't be implemented.
  14. If I rent a house and pay my rent then I have a right to live there but if I use it to grow marijuana then I get arrested and given alternative accommodation in prison. I can go and buy a new shotgun today and own it outright ... but I still can't take it on a bus and wave it around above my head. Simply "owning" something doesn't mean there are no strings attached. You don't lease any space at Ibrox, you pay for the right to use a seat to watch a game of football .... apart from that you have no rights to use it. So if you choose not to use it you are effectively paying for nothing and others who want a seat are denied reasonable opportunity to do so. That said, you can reclaim your seat at any time and for no additional cost. Seems to me you're just enjoying a good moan for no reason.
  15. I'm struggling to see the problem. No one is going to be forced to attend Ibrox if they don't want to. Nor are they saying I will lose my ST if I choose not to attend. As I see it, the four game rule is simply asking you to do the right thing and respect the needs of others to buy an unoccupied seat. Even then, I can reclaim my seat at any time I choose. If I understand the new arrangement, I will get back 75% of my seat value on that day which I can accumulate and use against the price of my next ST. As long as the system actually works, where's the problem?
  16. Making silk purses out of sows' ears is still as unlikely as it ever was. I really like Fashion Sakala but his decision making is often terrible and if that hasn't improved after two years then I think the chances are it never will.
  17. The only flaw in that argument is 2 years and three managers later, Sakala is still a rough diamond.
  18. Take comfort in Albert Einstein's words about playing youngsters in the first XI ..... "Three great forces rule the world: stupidity, fear and greed”.
  19. I'd much rather go fishing in Croatia than Ecuador
  20. I fully understand our recovery process is still incomplete but 7 years after we returned to the top flight and with a European final under our belt it's hard to believe how few players we have who are capable of sustaining a decent run of form. Perhaps Goldson, Jack, Cantwell and Raskin have an air of dependability, albeit the last two have only recently joined the club. It's a lottery with the rest whether they blow hot or cold from week to week. Tavernier, Barisic, Lundstram, Kamara, Davies, Souttar, Kent, Morelos, Wright all fall into this random category. I'm not sure where to place Sakala, Hagi and Tillman but add McGregor and Davis who are now way past their use by date and the current squad is a horror show.
  21. Is he a tenor?
  22. "I think you'll find I'm something of an expert on football" (if you know, you know)
  23. It’s not so much what we pay in salaries but who we pay it to. Β£1.45m a year to Rabbi Matondo ffs.
  24. Are you arguing? I’m thought I was educating you. 😏
  25. Why pay off someone you sell.
