How about not buying any more shares and disposing of their current shareholding, either to return it to the original donors or to raise money for the practical good of Rangers and its fans. Whatever they do, they should stop hoovering up other people's money on the silly pretence that they are the Grand Protectors of Rangers.
-
Voting rights to achieve what? Whatever they think of themselves, Club1872 is a tiny irrelevance with no influence whatsoever on the principal shareholders they seem determined to go to war with. A classic example of personal egos getting in the way of reality. That money could have been put to so many better uses for the benefit of club and fans alike.

I just can't see the point of purchasing these shares. What is it that Club1872 can do today that it couldn't do when that £250,000 was still in the bank. Even with these additional shares, Club1872 has no practical authority to do anything and long ago became separated from any ability to fulfil its stated objectives. The entire organisation seems to have degenerated into a pissing contest with the Rangers board and there can be only one winner there.

When I think of Walter Smith I always reflect that had Murray decided to bring in a big name replacement for Souness then Walter the manager and all the success he brought us would never have materialised. It makes you wonder how many other great men are out there who remain unrecognised and never get the chance to be the hero that Walter was. In the end, greatness is always about the opportunity as well as the man.

It's demoralising looking down the list and seeing the only reasonable choice is Souttar. I don't understand why Tillman is being touted, I thought he was desperately poor yesterday and in only a few weeks I've gone from ardent admirer to disappointed doubter.

I think we're hamstrung by an impending lawsuit over the Elite/Hummel fiasco and a colossal overspend on NEH.
-
Yup, that's about the size of it.
-
The reluctance to get rid of Jack isn't a failure to appreciate his injury issues - it's a recognition of his importance to the team. I've recently accepted he should probably go but unless we can replace him effectively then his going will certainly weaken an already struggling team.

The game today was at least useful in proving the point that if you have 5 or 6 disinterested passengers in your side it doesn't matter who you sign. Frankly, I'm convinced the only way forward is a complete restart with most of the current first team being released or sold. There seems to be a culture of defeat that pervades everything we do and it seems to get passed on to everyone who joins the club. We cope while lesser teams are backing off but as soon as an opposition puts us under pressure we have no response. It's a bit daunting to see how big a job lies ahead and there isn't a snowball's chance in hell it will be completed this summer. By the looks of it we could well have another 2 or 3 seasons of the same frustrations ahead unless someone tracks down the Ibrox money tree.

I'm so disappointed in myself. I wanted to predict an Aberdeen win in the GPL and chickened out to a draw. Lost opportunity!
-
Well this has been shit, a complete waste of an afternoon.
-
Say what you like but there’s no way we should be wasting £5m on Malik Tillman.
-
As good as Cantwell has been recently, he’s been a waste of a shirt today - along with Barisic, Davies, Sakala, and Raskin.
-
I’m confident when Rangers finally come out of the dressing room we’ll get our second half underway.
-
Correct
-
Almost nothing coming from our left in the first half.
-
I think that defence of ours might struggle if Aberdeen are up for it.
-
Even when winning they are remarkably fragile
-
Aberdeen had their chance to complain when Rangers were asking for support to remove the SFA/SPFL leadership but of course were happy to keep their heads down. Horrible club.
-
Ideally on a per game or per minutes played arrangement. That might work but otherwise we need to free up the money. Your comment on the national team will resonate with every Rangers fan. It's ridiculous he's still part of it.
-
Or it could be a double Schrodinger ... after he tries, we still won't know.

Such faith in the BBC and it's willingness to allow Rangers fans to freely express an opinion is touching. I'm confident the BBC is already well aware of the routine criticism it receives from Gersnet. Maybe we think the Gersnet owner is being invited specifically because his website is critical of the BBC and they generously think such criticism should reach a wider audience? I'm sure that's it.

I think Ryan Jack has been the best Rangers midfielder of recent years and had hoped his recent extended run in the team signalled a return to fitness. However, this latest news, ahead of a possible contract renewal, has to mean an end to his Rangers career. Sadly, there's now no choice but to let him go.

The BBC isn't inviting comment from Rangers fans for no reason. No Rangers fan is going to be allowed to say what needs to be said but other Rangers fans will still be happy to listen and allow the BBC to say their audience crosses the spectrum of supporters.
