  1. Surely they"ll be subtracting the time sorting the hold-up caused by them not registering the Administration... :-( As I've said elsewhere these Administrators should be Government appointed and non profit making! As for this hold up no doubt the fella spent stacks of time drinking water - I can't remember ever seeing anyone take so long drinking water!
  2. I would very much doubt that about VB. I tied quite a few times to get on their forum - they never let me join for some reason - how did you manage it Danny? Did you take them for a pint? ;-) seems very exclusive.

  4. Great parallel there: Lassie in coma, guy tries to ride her and she wakes up! LET'S HOPE WE WAKE UP SOON!
  5. I take it you're talking in the same sense as the film BRIMSTONE AND TREACLE. Only time will tell that!
  6. That's the thing though because what they offer will be judged against their business plan - If they offer 10p in the pound paid back over time (as will probably be the case if we loose the big tax case) they will need to show a good business plan and any plan that is good will need to include those who will be ultimately coughing up the cash the fans. For me, like Leggatt, it's a no brainer - has to be The Blue Knights. Btw not sure why some of my posts are coming up double - must be summit to do with using this blackberry... Apologises.
  7. I wouldn't take much notice of that as generally only fans with a negative viewpoint take part in these. These people will only change their mind if Paul started posting or made a statement solely for their website - NOT LIKELY! I seem to recall Whyte getting huge support from RM.
  8. In terms of the VCA I'd imagine most will offer 10p in the pound as was the case with Leeds Utd and other clubs in Administration.
  9. What should start to happen today after they've listed the bidders is the Administrators will start in on a kinda pre-authorisation of given monies and check the banks ton insure the money stated is in the various banks. I suppose then it's a matter of looking at the VCA's to see that they are in order! I would then hope it's a matter of selecting the bid that has the most money to take Rangers forward ie help it grow. I don't think the bidders that offer the creditors most cash will win I think it'll be a combination of the two factors with the plans to put money into Rangers the biggest factor! They should also look at which offer will get the fans support. From then I would imagine it"l be a case of the Administrators taking a VCA to HMRC and other Creditors for an agreement...
  10. Looking better and better - they certainly have my support and cash too.
  11. Enjoyable wee clip - don't think it'll beat Penny Arcade as a great Rangers tune.

  13. It really is a sham that Administrators aren't non profit making Government concerns - sooo many flaws and contradictions the main one being there's no real incentive for them to be efficient and successful in their tasks! Obviously we can't be too critical of these ones as we need them to do work some deal with HMRC. Btw if they can't get results with HMRC I don't really see their real role being worth much ... - certainly not £400,000 pcm
  14. You're not getting an argument from me there! J-) Dutchy, I'm a big Al Pacino fan and loved the drunken line he came away with in the restaurant in Scarface "I'm no a crook, these b*stards are the real crooks"! I wonder if Whyte was sitting in the background! :-)
  15. Transparency If that really was important we'd know every detail of Ragan's relationship and dialogue with Lieswell. Took a good look at the papers this morning and you'd be led to believe EBT's are illegal when they're not. If people are so irate about those schemes they really should take it up with the Government that implemented them rather than those using them. Providing we've done the paperwork correctly (and reading what D Murray and Campbell said recently) I think it's looking like we have, then it really is shameful the manner at which everyone is having a go! Of course there really is only one reason these schemes are getting so much attention - TO PUT PRESSURE ON THAT PANEL AND HMRC! In any other legal case the media would be prevented from discussing the big tax case but with it being Rangers... It seems Rangers have stayed within the law while Celtic (pre all seating) deliberately with held money from HMRC yet no one is discussing that!
  16. No need for that Pete - always good to see the work is appreciated. The file now has all the european matches played since 1956 and once I've systematically went over them, in the future it'll help Frankie as they should be easy to transfer to database etc. After that I'll just concentrate on inputting data about the teams we've played in Europe - maybe even match write ups summarising how the games went. After that there really are only two simple tasks left: keeping it updated and nipping into the Mitchell to add more game stats. No worries!
  17. Had a look at the newspapers there and they all say you're wrong - they all say it was the Administrators that blundered. It's not often I'm wrong but I'm right again! :-)
  18. These hosting sites really are hit and miss, had a few emails saying links weren't working yet it worked first time when I went to download it.
  19. It does doesn't it! Wear that and you'll need to take your dog along to games...
  20. I like him because he obviously hates D Murray - pretty good judgement he's got. Hope he manages to sort his problems back in South Africa and gets onboard with the BK's!
  21. Haven't listened to football on radio for ages. If we manage to survive liquidation i'll be glued to it listening to their bile - always good for a laugh.
  22. Chic, Chas, Charles, Charlie, Chuck, Chico, Horse, Drum Man... Take your pick. These days i'm using Charlie - i spent a few years in London so if i was pushed i'd go with Chas.
  23. I mind reading that a good while back - still no sign of them looking for cash, must be Rangers fans...
  24. That'll be interesting but i feel we'll have to deal them in to make sure we're not bogged down in courtrooms for ages to come - as that would basically mean no VCA with HMRC and a continuation of Administration according to Paul Murray and quite a few others. I wonder how much HMRC will settle for with Rangers - i'm pretty sure Leeds Utd paid 10p in the pound in their deal with HMRC?
