Summer Transfer thread - fun while it lasted!

Recommended Posts

I posted this on Twitter, but curious what you guys think. What players could we realistically pluck from the 3 relegated EPL teams? Let's not be silly and say Scott Parker, or Charlie Adam - what ones within our budget would enhance or be even better than what we have?

I'm not sure about Puncheon, not sure he's all that much better than what we have.

We have ZERO Chance of Parker of Adam.

IMO Adam will go to Man U for around the £12M mark, Parker to Arsenal or Spurs for around the same. Both players can pick who they go to TBH

Adam won't go to Man Utd. He will end up at Spurs unless they get Parker, he could also end up at Liverpool.

He is a bit of a liability as well should have had a penalty against him yesterday and has cost Blackpool a few goals this season.

Chris Burke has been unable to agree terms with Cardiff and will leave. There's talk of him returning to Ibrox. He's been good down there but in the end we really couldn't wait to get rid of him from here.

Tbh he would want a move back up here seeing as he kid lives up here iirc, not sure if he is still together with his gf/wife.

He would be ok but he is far to injury prone a reasonable back up but he would be on a good wage at Cardiff. I think he may find another championship club.

Fergies made a lot of noises about him. he's the best dead ball specialist in the EPL
