Someone missing from the RNS!

16 October 2013

Rangers International Football Club plc

("Rangers", the "Company" or "Club")

Directorate Changes

The Company announces that, by mutual consent, the Chief Executive, Craig Mather, has resigned from the Company with immediate effect. The Company also announces that Non-Executive Director Bryan Smart has resigned from the board with immediate effect. The Directors would like to thank both Craig and Bryan for their contributions to the Club.

As a matter of priority, the Company, working with its advisers, will now seek to strengthen the Board, both to meet the standards required for an AIM company, and to achieve stability through a consensus amongst major shareholders, which can then be considered by all shareholders at the Annual General Meeting.

Easdales v King ?

Where does this leave Rangers day to day?

The Easdales are clearly in charge - someone's proxy or not.

They'll now have to appoint a new CEO and directors asap. Not sure if these appointments will need to be ratified at the AGM as well - I assume so.

Has Mather been pushed re his meeting and statement about King joining??

Possibly as a show of strength from BPH/Marg/Easdales but more likely they knew he was a lame duck and want someone else in with a better chance of a ratification at any AGM.

I have to disagree and say it does matter about the money you put in as it gives you a vote a the agm.

I know Mather was supposed to be an interim appointment, but I still think he was doing a decent job. I am sure more people have said that than just Walter.

Now what are we left with, the easdales and stockbridge, probably the fans distrust most.

If the majority of shareholders, big players ownership wise didn't like the board why haven't they made this public?

Expect us to have no board soon, or a board put together by the easdales, which I am not saying is a bad or good thing.
