Another general remark and not aimed at you JTP: The place I work at occasionally has a seperate and "very special" entry for its "special" guests. Now, this is owned by a American family (AEG) who owns dozen such places all over the world, including the O2 World in London. They know that people who are "rich" or have money (for a once-in-a-lifetime-ticket) are not necessarily VIPs. Hence, they called that entrance not - as usual - "VIP entrance", but "Premium Entrance". You pay premium prices there, get special seats or even lounges, but it does not necessarily make you a VIP (though it does function as a VIP entrance too). So there#s a clear distinction in their minds about having money, being generally rich, a VIP, a star, or a superstar. I bemoaned the usage of megalomanic and polarizing words a wee while ago. These days, star and superstar are utilized very liberately. In this case, if McCarthy "is a superstar", where do you put Ronaldo or Neymar? Never mind those below them like Rooney an what, 120k a week? Rhethorical questions, of course. Zappa 0 Posted July 6, 2014 Author Share Posted July 6, 2014 Quick bump for the transfer thread to say that on Thursday Steve Simonsen answered a question from a Rangers fan on twitter who was asking him what the script is and Simmo said he's in limbo, which is what I had suspected. In other words... we haven't offered him a new contract, but neither have we told him that his services will no longer by required.
