That's highly offensive if you don't know, if you disagree or have something else to say please do so but don't liken my reply to that of a Nazi.

Thank you.

Lighten up. He's not a Nazi, he's not even an actor portraying a Nazi.

He's not a member of Terra Lliure either.

Well there is not a lot more that you can do to bring about the changes you want. The RST has, for different reasons, failed to appeal to the vast majority of the fanbase. If it can't do so in the current climate, it never will.

Who does appeal to the majority of the fanbase?

Even Dave King has his detractors now, but if he buys the club and throws money at it, he'll be lauded as the new messiah. This is how fickle and short term we are.

The Rangers Supporters Trust is offering fan ownership and democracy. It is about empowering the support. If the support would rather remain as outsiders, they can reject it, but the price for doing so will be a continuation of this sorry saga and a happy ending will be less likely with every passing day.

The RST has shown the way. This may be inconvenient for some, especially those who like nothing better than a good greet in the darkness, but it made the first call about fan ownership and the idea is no longer seen as an impossibility.

The support may be making a mess of getting there, but if it happened tomorrow, it would be gratefully endorsed by a large majority of us.

Been years since I watched Hogan's Heroes but I don't remember Sergeant Schultz being a Nazi, like millions of others he was merely a German soldier.

In fact John Banner the actor actor who portrayed him was an Austrian born Jew and was held for some time in a concentration camp.

I'll repeat the quote I posted before:

it appears to me that the collapse of Rangers into administration was a big missed opportnity for supporter ownership which be put down principally to RST's historic baggage.

and add another;

Whatever structure is develped in the case of Rangers I would have thought that the most pressing issue is to un-hitch the concept of mutual supporter ownership from the tainted history of RST.

Both from an expert in the field of fan ownership (not me) with no axe to grind.

Historic baggage?

Does the team you support have historic baggage? Have you given up on it because of it?

Opportunities have certainly been missed but the RST's SaveRangers had around £13,000,000 in pledges when things were getting desperate, and guess what happened?

The useless and utterly pointless RFFF came along and killed it. Those who pushed the RFFF idea displayed a complete lack of judgement and sent the support scurrying around looking for money that was never going to make a difference.

Your so-called 'expert' may have no axe to grind, but maybe you do. He doesn't sound like much of an expert to me.

The bottom line is that RST owns some 0.86% of the shares and is going to have difficulty maintaining that percentage in the rights issue unless it can find about £100,000 to invest which seems unlikely as I doubt it's taking in more than £3,000/month (and I note there's still no answer on number of monthly contributors).

I am sorry that I can't name the expert on fan representation but can assure you he is just that and not just on UK but world football.

I have said repeatedly that I have no axe to grind any more on the RST. I went into it believing in fan ownership/ influence and I came out of it as is well known for quite different reasons.

I wish we could start with a blank sheet of paper but infortunately that is not possible.

I am a member of RF but that certainly doesn't stop me criticising them for not getting their act together with a constitution and elections.

IMHO RF and RST need to knock their heads together for the greater good.

Complete and utter nonsense.

I had never heard of Mr Houston or Mr Graham until they got involved with UoF/ SoS. I have spoken to Mr Houston a couple of times in the passing; I have never met Mr Graham.

It is simply the case that I think they are misguided and I did not agree with the ST Trust/Ibrox 1972 Ltd idea nor do I think that a march will achieve anything at all. That said I have stated that I respect people's right to protest in a peaceful manner.

I have also stated that I do not trust Mr Dinnie because he was involved in the RST cover up but that is quite another matter and has no bearing on my view of the proposed march.

I have been consistent in these views despite being in a minority on here and oftentimes pilloried for it.

I am not hiding behind anything; quite the opposite in fact; it has been suggested more than once in public and in private that I am too open for my own good.

I believe you now, although I did not the first stack of times you posted this shit. So you do not send Mr Dinnie a Christmas card, big deal.

Why post it again when, as you say, it has no bearing in this thread about the march?
