The Scottish Cup Final: Rangers v Hibs

Recommended Posts

Morning Bears!!:rfcbouncy: Wow, its here. Its like the calm before the storm over here near Hampden. Weather is dire as usual, might brighten up with a bit of luck. Got a decent nights sleep but was up at 7am as usual. Stomach is churning, this is probably, if not the biggest, then one of the biggest Scottish cup finals in our history. Every player in the team will become a legend and be spoken about by generations to come should we life the trophy today:champs: 3-1 Bears:rfc:

The sun is scorching here and it is 24 degrees but I am the one who is envious.

Union Bears Display - Scottish Cup Final

The Union Bears have a large display planned for Saturday's Scottish cup final.

All supporters in sections A4-B4 in the West Stand will find an item under their seat. If this effects you then we'd ask that you hold this item up as the first Rangers player emerges from the tunnel.

If this display receives full participation then we truly believe that it will be one of our best displays to date.

If you would like to make a donation towards future displays then you can do so by going through the following link: http://tinyurl.com/phw9jog

Thank you for your continued support.

Team unchanged as last time against Hibs with Zelalem in midfield.

Hibs are playing 3 at the back.

McKay and Waghorn must not stay wide otherwise they will constantly have 2 players against them. they have to pull Gray and Stevenson inside leaving the room for Wallace and Tav on the outside and having 2 defenders tied up where they don't want to be. If they stay wide they will be easy defended.

Don't fancy Zelalem starting, he's liable to get over-run if Hibs play a pressing game and isn't ideal for attacking at a high tempo.

Ball is a big miss within the system MW prefers for this type of game.

Foderingham

Tavernier - Kiernan - Wilson - Wallace

Holt - Zelalem - Halliday

Waghorn - Miller - McKay

Subs: Bell, Shiels, Law, Clark, Burt

Not a single defender on the bench, no CH in sight. Let's hope all stay fit ... and Zelalem has an attack-minded day.
