Storm needed to to blow away Nessy- Inverness v Rangers match preview.

I am entirely sure it was selfish. About his ability to develop players. Not what was good for the club.

If they were better quality than we xould afford it certainly didnt show.

MW didn't exactly leave us under the best circumstances but there's no need to massage the "truth" like that. Our best player has been Hyndman. I think he shows that every time he plays. As a manager you don't jeopardise your role as manager to "look good" to other clubs. That's just nonsense, but it's Saturday night so I'll assume you're either on the wind up or on the sauce.

I'm not sure loan players were the biggest issue with Warburton.

He under-estimated Scottish football's top division. Bringing in players from the EFL league1 & league2 & expecting them to stroll it was never going to happen

He got one right in hyndman certainly.

One in what 6, 7 maybe 8

He hasn't recruited well, either in loans or in permanent signings. I wasn't defending his recruitment record, but I was challenging the accusation that he only recruited loan players to "look good" to other clubs.

In a lot of cases it clearly wasnt because they were good.

Still not played for them yet but is almost a certainty to pick up his second, second Division title in 2 years as VVVare already as good as Champions.

I thought I read a report that he'd scored his first ever senior goal for them the other day?

This is the early eighties. It's deja vu all over again.

No it isn't mate!

I've taken a look at the 'form' of all 12 SPL clubs over each of their last 7 league games and points accumulated...here is the form table as it stands:

Celtic..............21

Aberdeen......18

Partick...........11

Hearts...........10

Dundee .......10

Kilmarnock.....9

St Johnstone...9

ICT...................6

Rangers ........5

Hamilton.......5

Ross C...........4

Motherwell...4

The early eighties were never that bad!

Sorry I was wrong he has come on as a sub for them a few times but as far as I can see he has never started. It still remains he will probably have 2 championship medals in a row.
