Advocaat and Gullit coaching their last game for Holland. Advocaat suggests in an interview that he is not yet retiring.

The board saying they were expecting an application this week.

Surely not?

It would make little sense.

He needs money to succeed.

If we are not going to appoint Murty then make a move to appoint Michael O'Neil and Jimmy Nichol ,I don't know what my fellow fans see in the Aberdeen manager .

What has MO'N actually done to warrant a move by Rangers? He's done well with NI, but his club career consists of Brechin City and Shamrock Rovers... !!

To be fair to him, he has always set up his teams to punch well above their weight. From memory, he got Shamrock Rovers into the Europa league proper. He has done exceptionally well with NI (qualified for the Euros, knock out stages of the World Cup) but imo that is where he should remain. Would probably do well with Scotland or a smaller international team but for all his considerable attributes, I would hope that we would not consider him for the Rangers manager's position.
