I'm dismayed when I see that we may be signing Kieran Dowell. If that's the level of our aspirations then I'd much rather we gave a chance to our own youths - Lowrie for one. Bigger clubs than us have no hesitation in throwing youngsters in  - and they all need to keep winning. Barca fielded a 15 year old the other day.

Dowell from the same club Cantwell was signed from? 

 

Lowry has had injury and personal issues this season and is just back on the training pitch. 

 

Robbie Ure has reportedly refused a new contract with us so will be moving on (was never gonna make an impact in our 1st team).

 

Hanging our hopes of winning leagues and cups with players like Lowry, King, Devine, Rice, Lovelace etc is dilusional. If we bothered to watch the colts, you'd see how far off the required level these players are. Lucky if one or two of them make the grade.

Wow. One of the comments is Kenny McLean is twice the player. Kenny McLean is garbage. If he is twice the player then Dowell must be bad 😂

It is the same with Union over here in Berlin. Players can be good or bad elsewhere, but in a new club everything starts from scratch. Since Der Berliner invited me in here, I have seen about 10 to 15 games. Vera different to what we see here in the Bundesliga, but you do need real strikers or attackers that can score. Far too few shots are actually dangerous.
