"Hup Holland Hup"

Dutch people are a lot less precious about what Holland means than we seem to be.

I like to be accurate.

I've taken a battering on xG over the last week, so just let me have this!

Whats your fascination with Ange?

Ima shoot you straight.

Fascination and corollary are not necessarily linked.

Ange is simply the most apt comparison to where we are at.

Any insinuation of heresy, or a turncoat mentality for logical, critical thought is asinine.

Actually, I can find no other more appropriate example as Souness coached in a time where things were very different at Rangers.

BTW now did his first few months in Scottish football go (after changing a full squad)?

The fat Greek lost three of his first six league games.

However his team outscored opposition 16-4 over those first six.

To include two 6-0 wins.

Those are green shoots, those are signs that a system is in work and a transition is taking place...progress.

This team are not showing ANY signs of progress.

To make matters worse Beale took his last opportunity to set a shaky squad in prior to a monster (no exaggeration) game against PSG.

He played a team packed with bench players who are even less 'gelled' resulting in a near loss.

Thus robbing his true first string of that last opportunity to set in.

Make no mistake about it, PSG and probably gonna beat the breaks off our ass on Tuesday, and then Beale will be on life support.

I don't want it...but it's lookin that way.

As ever an interesting choice of words.

You have a great depth of insight into Scotch football.

Things weren't very different at Rangers when Souness managed. We were serial losers, unrest at boardroom level and only the foresite of David Holmes changed that.

We hadn't won the league in almost a decade, we're changing Manager's more regularly than a Celtic fan changes underwear.

You've given Ange 4 league games (two defeats) but Beale gets 2 (outscored opposition 4-1 with 1 defeat).

PSV should be beating us, they are a better team with better players.

PSG on the otherhand.......
