  1. He's a decent player but Swansea will be looking for North of £6M for him so that's us out of the running.

  2. I’m all for banning Celtic fans from Ibrox. What they do at their own midden is their business.

  3. Apparently it's Police Scotland who are pushing for it (probably after the recent pre-match bother at Hampden).

  4. Joel Piroe ... is actually a striker. Just in case anyone who doesn't watch Swansea that often wants to know. Joël Mohammed Ramzan Piroe of Dutch-Suriname pedigree, 14 goals and one assist in 36 games this season. 84 goals and 24 assists in 174 games (at this age not bad). I do wonder what Swansea will want, since he ain't bad and has a year on his current deal to run.

  5. From what I've heard it's reinstate the original away allocations or have no away fans. Is it coincidence that this has been raised when Celtic have a chance of clinching the title at Ibrox and want 7500 fans there to witness it?

  8. Watched City last night in the hotel bar and I hope strikers up and down the country watched Haaland his movements when he hasn’t got the ball are a joy to watch he’s never still he drags his markers all over the place creating space for others an old head on young shoulders

  9. There really shouldn't be any debate the team that faced Hibs last week should also face Celtic in the semi final. Lessons learned about team selection - keep Tillman out of it and for God's sake don't let Kamara, Lundstram or Morelos anywhere near it.

  10. The ACAB/pig banners are fairly timid civil disobedience stuff so whilst I'm not entirely surprised by Polis Alba and the club's reaction to it, it's all a bit petty. In terms of the specific targeting of Ross Wilson, I'm not sure of the point of that. Yes, his performance (as with many others) is certainly questionable and definitely worthy of examination and criticism where necessary but I'm personally unconvinced we're at the stage of protest banners over his position. Not so much that I disagree with direct messages being displayed per se just that to garner support then the message has to be qualified to make it worthwhile. To run it alongside police complaints is rather counter productive.

  11. Remember the old days when there was constant hubbub rising into wild cheers and falling into despairing groans and songs were sung instead of yapped? I don’t hold with this Continental chanting.

  12. Best to play them now. A semi-final defeat is never as sickening as losing in the final. With a change of luck, Rangers beat them and we can all relax at the Cup Final and cheer the team to a comfortable victory over Falkirk. (Ancient tribalism demands that the jammy caley creep no further in this competition)

  13. I agree. However, 29 Euro goals is a considerable contribution and extremely difficult to replace. Further, he has been targeted by the usual suspects. BBC Scotland's behaviour has been disgraceful. Constant appeals to the Compliance Officer by both Sportsound and Sportscene. I think eight red cards and four rescinded. Then five convictions for opposition supporters throwing coins, hot and cold iced drinks and, lighters and vapes. My favourite was in the month where Rangers visited both Pittodrie and Easter Road three seasons past. The Dandy Dons held a banner in Spanish proclaiming Alfie's Mother to be a mattress. At Easter Road, Irvine Welsh on Hibs TV wanted Alfie macheted into thin strips and fed to seagulls. Both incidents did not receive punishment, they were drowned out by the sniggers of the usual suspects. It is a baby and bath water situation. Often, he is his own worst enemy but, he has made an important contribution.

  14. Good appointment, hopefully he continues where he left off at Aberdeen, and cements Dundee Utd's league position.
