But we will never know as Goldson like Tav seems undroppable for reasons I do not understand. Wee Rabbi gave a fine account of himself too and Cantwell had another great game. I would still make room for Hagi too.

We've tired Livi out. The right subs at the right time from Beale, completely changed the game.

It's like pulling teeth watching us try and create chances against the teams with smaller budgets in the league. I'm pretty happy with how we've been defensively, although I think our press has been sloppy and inconsistent. Cantwell the difference between us winning and losing a game it seems.

Don Robertson is a good cheat. Everything we do needs to go through cantwell. There is no creativity elsewhere.

I read somewhere that they are working on playing Hagi in the deeper #8 position, where Cantwell and Shifu are playing in the above graphic.

Good attacking line-up. Also encouraged with Shifu playing more attacking midfield role with Raskin more defensive. I hope to see goal contributions from at least Dessers and Danilio today. Further improvement required though so hoping the performance continues to progress.

Beale made the right changes at the correct point of the game. Livi were opening up and leaving gaps, Sima and especially Matondo exploited these gaps with their pace and directness. Previously, Livi were sitting deep, so their pace and directness wouldn't have been as potent as it was in last 10-15 minutes.

Just need to keep it going. A win in midweek or result that puts us through will increase confidence. Souttar has been immense. Fingers crossed he stays fit. Thought Matondo did well too - No really I did

Agreed. I suspect some of the same fans gave headless chicken Philip Sebo a better reception because...he ran around a lot. We need to give Dessers time. I'm sure he missed many games at the end of last season so he's still getting up to speed.

I've got 7pts after two games. I think I got 6 pts over the whole season last year. I feel practically giddy.

I don't think we're playing to Dessers' strengths just yet. He's still not quite match sharp either.

I really like the way both Balogun and Souttar are prepared to carry the ball out of defence when the opportunity arises. Btw you're right about Raskin. He cuts a frustrated figure these days and something about the current set up isn't working for him.

I'm hesitant to praise the defence too much as Livington didn't offer much going forward.

Aye I've said Goldson getting the RCB berth shouldn't be clear cut and to be honest, I'd put Souttar there. If we have to move to a 5 at the back then so be it. If not then Goldson better start working on his weak foot in training because I can't remember the last time he put in a block on a cross like Souttar did today - game changing defending.

Matondo has looked sharp at times.

Went along today and was very impressed indeed. The overall presentation of all the sections was very professional and tasteful IMO. Had a few goosebumps moments tbh. Some of the older items and letters etc are the best part IMO. I think Rangers had a hard job to present this as they effectively already have a museum of sorts next door in The Trophy Room. ie. I'm sure there are lots things from there that could have made their way into the museum. Well worth a visit for any fan and the price point is spot on IMO. You won't be disappointed.

Lammers is not alone with having much to prove. Sima, Dessers, Danilo & co are in the same boat. I would imagine they would wecome a proven system to make it easier to win the fans over and get their confidence up. Then perhaps work towards a new system in steps they can digest.
