Ferguson is picking the team based on what's best for Ferguson and not what's best for the club in the medium term. It shouldn't matter if Lawrence is doing better in training. He's gone soon and not part of next season. Cortes will still be our player and desperately needs game time. I think Raskin would rather stay for another few sessions giving what Rangers could potentially offer him in terms of game time and European football, plus he would certainly be in contention for the captaincy if James Taviner decides to leave, sure there are interests who would pay a premium price but can we afford to let him go and find a replacement for him, I don’t think we could regardless of the investment we have coming in, as the Belgium head coach said Raskin is equally as good if not better than Tellimans or the other one at Chelsea. Keep him at all costs in my opinion.
