  1. Daily Record not leading with Aberdeen actually winning but how classy Celtic are for clapping the winners as they walked up the stairs. You could not make this shit up. Literally every losing team in the last 150 years has done that.

  3. Just watched Leprechaun (wee man likes daft horror films) and noticed the wee boy in it is wearing a Forty Niners cap, prior to defeating the little "green bastard".

  6. I’d always thought the next rangers manager was still with a club hence no announcement. Ancellotti beginning to make sense now

  7. Rolling the dice with a young inexperienced Heid Coach but the appointment makes much more sense than Gerrard.

  8. So because we're a shitshow just now means we can't remember previous triumphs? Are we only allowed to remember days like Helicopter Sunday or Barcelona if we're being successful?

  9. At least we won the most apologies from the incompetent officials award. Stunning and brave.

  10. To paraphrase Oscar Wilde: it happens once it's unfortunate, twice it smacks of carelessness, three times it looks like corruption.

  11. Fair point. We're all flailing around in a world of guesswork.

  12. Barcelona is a different achievement entirely, for example I'm still proud that we reached the Manchester final in 2008, I'm still proud that we got to the final in 2022, but I haven't watched either finals back since. You do you mate, but domestically - I don't think many are quick to bring up past successes, when in current times we're getting absolutely spanked. Helicopter Sunday was a good day, being at Ibrox all locked outside when we won 55 was a good day, winning the league in 7 minutes at Rugby park, great memories for us all personally, no shouting from the rooftops about it these days though.

  13. Great day. Couldn't get a ticket but was not far from Easter Road. No idea how I got home that day. We really need to stop Paedo FC winning everything.

  16. Not seen this mentioned, but yesterday was the 20th anniversary of Helicopter Sunday. What a day it was - Motherwell managed by former Ranger Terry Butcher winning 2-1 thanks to two late goals from Celtic bound Scott McDonald. Rangers defeating Hibs 1-0 where both teams settled for 1-0 long before the final whistle (score suited both teams). Rangers fans belting out Sunshine On Leith whilst awaiting the arrival of the helicopter/trophy. Marvin Andrews defying all medical advice and somehow managing to play through a serious injury in the title run in. He also delivered the now famous Keep Believing message. We'll all have our stories and memories of that day and I was lucky enough to be there that day. Still can't quite believe what happened in those closing minutes.

  24. We were told categorically that it wouldn't be someone that's been here before tbh, not sure why everyone kept lumping Gerrard on at the bookies. Seems to have been bookies driven that rumour more than any and Ancelotti has been the main target all along. Glad tbh. A fresh approach makes sense, also keeps everyone relatively on side. There was good and bad to Gerrard, ultimately we need better though.

  31. Sorry for the late answer. I doubt my niece would be interested to be honest as she is very set in her ways, and I don't know if she speaks English that good. She is the only one left in that side of her family. My brother-in-law was in the army until recently when he retired. He was on paid leave for the last years, though. His son joined the army. After a number of years, he decided to come out into civvy land. He couldn't adapt to normal work, so he approached his ex-commander if he could rejoin again as he made a mistake coming out. His commander refused to let him back in. A few weeks later, they found him hanging from a tree. He had taken his own life. I suppose that is the same in reverse.
