  1. I agree. We don't need a Big Bang. What's required is consistent and maintained pressure. It's too easy to ride even the stormiest single wave, but if we continue to see this constant attack it will eventually have an effect on these corrupt goons. Anyone in PR (and I'm not) knows this, which is why I was always bemused by our previous attempts at this. Maybe this new chap coming in has brought some awareness and experience to the club afterall. If we can keep this pressure on for a few more days, in the absence of any bigger sports stories (of which there are few), this could very well see us get our inquiry. The pressure is also building on Celtic. I wonder how they'll spin this one. Their Hollicom team must be working overtime, but I wouldn't underestimate them because they'll come up with a corker and then we already know Celtic has the brass neck to deliver any message no matter how ridiculous.

  2. The blog got answers from the club on several points people wanted answered Did we have evidence, why aren’t we releasing it, what is our strategy It was a different blog in respect of my usual and what the key points where. So in terms of the points made they are very much Rangers own stance which I covered on my comments on twitter So the points on the clubs stance etc are not defended by me, merely passed for your own thoughts So in essence, I don’t disagree with your thoughts, I hadn’t written the blog as a defence of the club so I get your points There are many who feel we have the wrong strategy or have missed the boat, time will tell

  3. Not yet for me. I think the pre warning type statement on a Sunday is a good thing, make them sweat a wee bit before this reconstruction forum starts tomorrow. Hold the cards close to the chest for now IMO. I wouldnt strike yet - not when it hasnt been confirmed that the stooges wont be involved in any investigation. Good to see Dalglish speak out - possibly the best ever Scottish player who must ooze respect from many in the UK as a whole. Going forward, former respected players should always have a part on the board even a consultancy basis at a minimum.

  4. For me they got offered league reconstruction if they voted to accept the SPFL proposal to finish the lower leagues & award the premiership to the yahoos. But league reconstruction requires an 11-1 vote in the premiership. Rangers will vote against & I cannot see why the yahoos would want it either. Others too maybe. Budge & others have been sold a pup with league reconstruction in return for voting for the SPFL proposal

  7. One wonders how much longer the ominous silence from glasgow’s East end will continue regards the SPFL vote fiasco. Liewell seems to have abandoned his 3 SPFL placemen who are now coming under fire from everyone. Do the yahoos support an independent SPFL investigation or not? Do the yahoos support league reconstruction or not? Hopefully we are now beginning to see the end of liewell’s cast iron grip on Scottish football

  8. I wonder what percentage of people who regularly attend Scottish football matches listen to Sportsound. I'd say less than 5%. I sit amongst Hearts, Hibs and Rangers ST holders at work and have never heard anyone discuss it. The SPFL will get what they want unless Rangers and some other clubs take action (Rangers are but probably need some support from influential figures in the game).

  9. Thank´s for the reply Stevie ! I was just giving my tuppence regards mostly what the club had done thus far. Wasn´t having a go at you in any way. I really should have thanked you for putting the blog up,... I do so belatedly

  10. Surely anyone with any sense of reason or fairness would agree with this.

  13. Of course it’s been orchestrated with the eventual aim of awarding the yahoos the premiership title Problem is liewell’s 3 SPFL stooges have screwed up

  15. IMO Clubs have to go a little beyond their own self-interest on this because of the level of threat the virus fall-out poses the game in general. Tom English is only doing his job. Yesterday, we heard it live on radio. It was like a bullfight, only a sheep replaced the bull and voluntarily started to batter it´s head of a wall, dazing itself. The hack sensed his prey was weakening and repeatedly made moves to try and finish him off. Brian McLauchlin later tried to get a bite himself.

  17. The SPFL are on the backfoot. Where we want them. We must make the most of this opportunity to get rid off their senior office bearers with yahoo sympathies. We are now in a situation where we have others who share our concerns about the SPFL. We must work with them to achieve our goal to eliminate some or all of Doncaster, McKenzie & McLennan. After this we can then turn our attention to the SFA....

  18. Just a thought now that the lower leagues seemingly have been paid out and a task force set up to examine reconstruction should another task force not be set up to examine and correct the abnormality of the size of salary paid to Doncaster and any other at SPFL/SFA?. Doncaster's salary alone could have paid practically the WHOLE of SPFL2.

  20. PQ thread on action at PQ goes LIVE ? - Support for Independent Investigation from various (most) - Billy Dodds chucks in a mini grenade with character assanination of Big John (Dundee CEO) !! - Dundee and SPFL have refused to come on programme. The 388K public face of the SPFL is still hiding. - Big Dick (copyright 26th) is doing his best to shield the men who are scared to show face or lift a telephone.....I´ll call instead, I´ll dae it, gonnae, please !! - Michael Stewart (with Tom English and callers for Big Dick in support) go after Rangers because of the "whistleblower evidence" statement. IMO it WAS an OG on our part and left this avenue of attack open. - Stewart in "looking for Blue Sky thinking" shock - Cormack (sheep) says Aberdeen voted No, then quickly changes to Yes - Cormack defends Doncaster. Apparently you cannae just blame the 388K man. - Cormack not happy with timescale given by SPFL to consider resolution but not aware of bullying (later part teed up by fellow sheepie in studio, ie. nice to finish on a positive) - Doncaster called Cormack before vote cast to advise re score on the doors - Cormack gets muddled and fuels more questions than he gives answers - Cormack backs call for Independent Investigation (difficult not to after the confusing pish he came out with just before) - English goes after Doncaster, Big Dick with passionate defence of the invisible man - Doncaster must really love Big Dick - Falkirk chairman Gary Deans..."wasn´t really to do with the money" - Deans is not happy with handling of the whole thing - Deans not bothered about investigation but at same time says Independent aspect apeals (confused), something has to be looked at but now not the time - Deans not happy with Cormack/Doncaster phonecallgate - Deans rips pish out of Dundee/SPFL IT story with joke Independent Investigation gathering support Tom English smells a story starring The Invisible Man and Sheep Big Dick has really uncovered himself today #alternative_transparency ?

  21. How can that bunch of nobodies be trusted for league reconstruction?? never heard of most of them.

  22. League reconstruction will be a farce if that’s where we’re heading. A top division of 14 teams would be a joke. Maybe the board are waiting for this nonsense to unravel..
