  1. This more than other game should have seen Rousseau's dream of a clean sweep, but alas, it's not to be. This thread should be used to educate future generations of kids that drugs are bad.

  2. Hope this is in the spirit of the thread, as it would have been this genius' birthday today. Happy Birthday in Heaven Coop

  3. FFS, this kind of post is juju suicide. (Jujuicide?) Ought to be an automatic blue card.

  4. Between Dessers for his 2 goals and Lundstram for his overall performance (including a "no look" pass assist for Silvas goal). Actually, it's no contest, Lundstram by the length of Sauchiehall Street.

  5. Expect a visit from the witchdoctor police. Chicken bones lobbed through your windaes, I expect..

  6. Clearly, Diomande is a most technical player. He has the ability to get his foot in, a bit of the Brahim Hemdani. Breaking up opposition attacks as they are getting started is a rare skill. Yesterday's left foot shot was a crisply hit pass into the interior side of the net from 25 yards. As good as it was, it paled against last week's right foot strike at Perth. On a bumpy pitch, he took a touch and then hit across the ball with the outside of his right foot from 20 yards. I believe his right foot is his chocolate? A headed goal from Dio would be nice on Wednesday evening at Rugby Park.

  7. Diomande was practising these left footed shots before the game, and low and behold, a minute into the game....

  9. Was a tongue in cheek reply - we can all see Dessers misses chances, but he never let's it get to him. He just keeps getting into positions and scores goals. I'd be more worried if he wasn't creating chances. I'm too old for all this XG (with all due respect) sh1t.

  13. Forget them. They are irrelevant. We keep winning and we win the league. It's that simple.

  14. Ridvan for me, but I couldnt argue with anyone voting for Cortes, Dio, Lunny, Tav, Dessers, Lawrence, Souttar - all were very good.

  15. Any word on Sima? I presume because he's not returned to Brighton that he will be back for the league run-in?

  17. So many choices - Lundstram, Tavernier, Lawrence, Souttar, Dessers - but I have to vote for the best left back at Ibrox, Ridvan Yilmaz.

  18. Calvin Bassey also scored for Fulham in a win v Man Utd. Fond memories of Bassey so good to see him doing well.

  19. Maxie Murray oft maligned frequently by me but on a goals to games ratio he’s sixth top Rangers striker.

  20. The "turnaround" in Cyriel Dessers is incredible. Boo'ed/jeered by the vast majority of Rangers fans, ridiculed on social media, jeered when he was subbed and written off by the so called Internet experts. The reality was he arrived recovering from a major injury and always looked like there was a player in there. The big man kept plugging away, kept his head held high, kept scoring goals and all with a smile on his face. Now got 15 goals for the season and looks fit and raring for more. Some fans, for whatever reason, wanted him to be a failure, they should hang their heads in shame (they won"t) over the treatment dished out to OUR player. Nice one Cyriel, nice one son, nice one Cyriel let's have another one

  21. Ridvan Yulmaz is having his best game in a Rangers shirt. Far ahead of Barisic.

  24. KLAXON KLAXON Hear this! Hear this! It is Friday night and I am viewing BBC Scotland's satellite channel's live coverage of the Championship match between Partick Thistle and Dunfermline Athletic. Half time is 1-1 and the trio of Jonathon Sutherland, James McFdden and, Leeanne Crichton spend ten minutes discussing first half events. There are another five minutes before the second period begins and the Shetland pony announces an interview of Jack Butland by Tom English. We know BBC Scotland's Chief Sports Writer has been banned from both Sellik Park and Lennoxtown since the close season by Peter because he penned the truth about Brenda's departure to Leicester City. Initially, Peter banned BBC Scotland in it's entirety but relented after demanding both the corporation and Tom English apologise. The Gang Hut offered full throated consummation because ah mean, 'faithful through and through'. However Tom has refused and remains on the naughty step. Tom's five minute chat with Butland is nothing spectacular but reveals the English keeper is not remotely interested in returning down south any time soon. Significantly, the interview was conducted at Auchenhowie. PQ have NOT flagged up this interview on their website or on any of their numerous TV and radio news shows. It has been sneaked in at half time during a Friday evening Championship live coverage. The Gang Hut will be raging, BBC Scotland's Chief Sports Writer providing a service to license fee paying Rangers supporters! Steven Gerrard was Rangers manager for three and a half years and the national broadcaster does not possess a single second of interview pertaining to that time. Has Tom gone rogue?

  26. Kenny will always supply a free shot to any Gersnet member.... My wife will be there tomorrow for a post-match drink but unfortunately I'll be stuck at home; if at the game at least.

  27. Could we see something along these lines tomorrow? I thought Cortes was really quiet last week so may be asked to impact from the bench tomorrow. Diomande and Sterling would allow a bit more control of the game if needed against an in-form Hearts side.
