Back during the festive period, I saw a Tweet referring to the attention seeking Michael Stewart, it might have been in the wake of the last old firm game? It went along the lines of : 'if I was stranded on a desert island with a packet of Jammy Dodgers and Michael Stewart, I would eat Michael and talk to the fcuking biscuits'. Kinda sums up dearest Michael.3 points

Earlier in this thread, I articulated the worry of leaving the pitch in Portugal at 22.15 hrs, rehydrating, sleeping and, returning to Glasgow Friday afternoon. Saturday was a loosener and an assessment on whom was prepared to go out on to the Easter Road pitch on Sunday evening. Joe Newell expressed it perfectly, "I hope the Rangers players are knackered after their exploits in Lisbon". Hibs started as expected, pressing us all around the pitch, particularly high in our own eighteen yard box. It was a hard watch because we did not pass the ball well. The players remained calm and were prepared to play the percentage game. If we ran out of options, we slung it over the top. The calmest character in our camp was the Gaffer. Both pre and post match, he keeps it simple, respectful, humble and, focused. The evidence is increasing, the players respond to his approach. We did not become involved in an increasingly fraught situation. Philippe has drilled the players and we all benefit. Our manager is blessed with penetrative thought, he sees it, calls it and, the players respond.2 points

STOREHIBERNIAN TV NewsMatchesTickets & HospitalityTeams 36 minutes ago Club SUPPORTER CONDUCT – ENOUGH IS ENOUGH By Hibernian FC Share Hibernian FC condemns the abhorrent behaviour and chanting made by some supporters in Scottish football. Over recent years supporters’ unacceptable conduct has become rife in Scotland whether that be through the use of pyrotechnics, sectarianism, objects being thrown onto the field of play or through other actions. This is simply not good enough. Understanding that the behaviour of certain sections of Hibernian FC’s own support has not been good enough at times this season, the Club has been taking the strongest possible action against those who behave in an unacceptable manner, working with Police Scotland and colleagues at other clubs. Hibernian FC now implores other clubs to act in a similar fashion and the governing bodies to take serious consideration into the issues to ensure Scottish football is safe and welcoming for all. Following fan behaviour and chanting from opposing teams this season, the Club’s Board of Directors will be reducing the away allocation at Easter Road moving forward, alongside taking further actions. Football is a sport for all, and stadiums should be a place where families and friends can come together to support their team. Hibernian FC prides itself on being a club for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, colour, gender, religion, creed, and sexual orientation. Everyone should be able to feel safe and comfortable attending a football match. https://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/2024/march/11/supporter-conduct---enough-is-enough/1 point

I miss the atmosphere at away games but sleep soundly in the knowledge I no longer fund any of these scummy clubs (haven't done since we came back up). Our support have so much power but we'll never use it.1 point

Aye, pictures tell whatever story you want. The guy went in with both feet off the ground, and when your feet are higher than your arse, at the speed he was coming in at, you make the refs decision easy.1 point

A lot will come down to him, his agent and whatever offers he gets elsewhere.1 point

I have seen it and it is not pretty. Remember, there are three types of Accountant and, their actions are always in triplets. Get a BIG tub of lubrication, he will beat you around the head with his slide rule whilst ramming his abacus up your jacksie. Some of those wooden abaci can be most uncomfortable to accommodate. Three types, those that can count and those that cannot. There lies the rage.1 point

Careful, you do not want to be the subject of Bean Counter rage.1 point

...and therein lay the rub. Rangers always overshoot the LZ. Over 30...A 2 year deal is fair. But it will be 4.1 point

I gave you the points - I've just not written the post correctly. Thanks for pointing it out.1 point

I wouldn't think there's a cat's chance in hell of Lundstram being released by Rangers. Whether he can get a better deal elsewhere is another matter altogether1 point

Rangers looked really bad for large parts of that one but our quality was just too much for them in the end. A win is all that matters. On to the semis. Hopefully we draw the scum.1 point

Agreed, they are utter shite, I wish we had them next week.1 point

Good result in Lisbon Won with ease today Only this blinking injury thing can hamper us1 point

Lunny has to be renewed. He has improved massively since Clement has come to the club, and is viewed as one of big phils leaders on the pitch. That being said, the deal needs to be right for everyone.1 point
