  1. Yeah, but they are nothing to do with the rights issue that you asked about.
  2. Nope. Try again....
  3. The £50m also doesn't appear in MIH's group balance sheet.
  4. Agreed. Nothing to smile about.
  5. If that's what you are referring to then the answer is that Murray Sports were not involved in that rights issue.
  6. Which £52m are you referring to? The one from the last rights issue?
  7. If Lloyds are looking for the debt to be repaid (let's say £25m) and SDM wants £50m for his shares then it would be better to give some indication of this rather than wasting everyone's time, as there's no way that anyone iis coming up with £75m. However if the bank only need the debt repaid and SDM requires nothing 9or a minimal amount) then at least the guys trying to put together a deal would have an idea.
  8. The bank have had people in at the club since early last year. It's a lot different from most companies dealings with banks.
  9. I don't think all the CL cash has been received, and probably not all the transfer income has been received. we have still had to pay off some outstanding transfers as well. I doubt it's as low as £18m, but it should still be lower than the June debt. Although £20m is a term loan, the bank obviously want it paid off sooner than the stated terms given their procrastination over the business plan.. What is not clear is what the offer of £18m covered and who gets what.
  10. It's about time that whoever is pulling the strings let it be known what the asking price is. There's obviously a lot of work going on behind the scenes and nobody seems to know what is being asked for.
  11. The level of other club's debts isn't really that relevant to us. If a Liverpool have got debts of, say £200m, but have a facility of £300m then they have a lot more manoeuvrability than we do. Most of these clubs also don't have a business plan imposed on them by the bank that puts massive restictions on what they can and can't do. However, saying that, long term, it doesn't look too pretty for these clubs and they may need some sort of sugar daddy to help them out.
  12. He's had good reviews, although I don't recall him being a stand out against us, although one Falkirk player tends to look like another to me. I can't see him being value for money though. Falkirk will look for too much for him.
  13. It's totally bizarre. Strachan wouldn't play Killen or Flood when he was manager of Celtic but yet thinks that they are good enough for his new team. Glad to see Robson go. His crosses and corners could cause bother.
  14. The guy was defending himself against accusations that he had financial problems. Here's a scenario: ============ Reporter "Do you have money difficulties?" Lafferty "No. I don't have money difficulties." Reporter "C'mon. I hear that you live in a really small house" Lafferty ""No. I've got a nice, big house." Reporter "Can you prove that you don't have money difficulties? What car do you drive." Lafferty "I've got two nice cars, including a Bentley". Reporter "aye but I hear that you're looking at a smaller car in the future". Lafferty "I'm actually test-driving a Porsche." ============= He's answered 4 questions honestly and perhaps in a way that isn't boasting. Take out the questions and put the answers together and it does. Can anyone say that they doubt that this is a likely scenario? This is the Scottish press. You can trust them to put an article together in a way that damages Rangers. Let's give Lafferty the benefit of the doubt and not fall for it in the way that the press could be trying to manipulate us into.
  15. I really can't get upset at his supposed "disrespect". His comments don't bother me. Is Boyd quibbling about his £18K a week contract also showing disrespect? No, he's just trying to do the best he can, like we all do. It's all a bit mopish.
  16. Exactly. I can't get too excited about his comments. He had every right to reply to Nicholas, although he may have been better to ignore it. This is the time that we should be getting behind the big man. He's had a couple of crap games up front, but he's played well there in the past, and he can hopefully settle down and improve with a few games under his belt. Hopefully he will work at his game and we will see an improvement. He had a few good games up front last season and there's no reason to think he can't improve and use the opportunity of Boyd being missing.
  17. Think it is a different one.
  18. I've just read on FF that former ticket office manager Ian Hosie passed away in St. Andrews Hospice on Saturday. Ian had retired from the police and was ticket office manager working with Jim Hannah. He did a very good job, and worked well with supporters club, including mine, and would sometimes even come to games on our bus. I believe that he continued to have a season ticket after he left the ticket office. He was a good guy and will be sorely missed. My thoughts are with his family. RIP.
  19. 16/10/09 6/11/09 20/11/09 27/11/09 Oh dear.
  20. I was going to go to it until I read your post. I can feel the cold already. Will probably still go as it's included on my season ticket.
  21. I doubt I would be able to make it if it was in Edinburgh, whereas I'll be going to it at Hampden.
  22. Got to love the style of posting. When losing an argument, just keep repeating something that isn't relevant. Yup, convinced me.
  23. The numbers of trophies are also stats. Don't know what they teach at some schools......
  24. If Davis gets injured, can we afford to let Mendes go?
  25. I was beginning to think that I was the only one who remembered Goram as being great with the ball.
