  1. I don't have any doubt that there is a letter. Not sure why the sight of the letter makes you a handwringer though. It's probably more relevant to ask whether the letter was genuine.
  2. If we are to take the quote as genuine, then it's not just that it's unacceptable but it's unacceptable and Rangers will get punished.
  3. When McGregor gets into his groove, as he is at the moment, he tends not to make mistakes. It takes him around 10 games or so to find his feet when he is returning from injury. At the moment, he's a long way in front of Alexander.
  4. I didn't say anything about it being banned. Don't quite see the connection. It's not a verse that is used or was ever adopted, although I do agree with the sentiments. Rebellious Scots should be crushed. A ruling that brings embarrassment on the Scottish legal system.
  5. I presume that's the wording of the original finding which was appealed and overturned. The decision of the appeal allegedly said the following: ââ?¬Å?UEFA has to send a strong message that sectarianism is unacceptable within football, especially within UEFA competitions. If Rangers FC wishes to compete in UEFA competitions, they must combat this behaviour not only on the occasion of home matches but also on the occasion of away matches. These incidents are ascribable to Rangers FC in accordance with Article 6(1) RD and must be punished accordingly.ââ?¬Â

  7. It was a £12.7m loss, but that needs to be increased as we probably will not get the same tax credit as we did last year, and we'll make less on player sales, so your starting point is probably closer to a £18m loss, and if we then take £14m from the CL and savings of around £5m from the wage bill then we're looking at a £1m profit.
  8. I doubt we will get ââ??¬10m from TV. I believe that Celtic got around Ã?£5m last year. and I doubt it will increase significantly. We'll probably clear around Ã?£14m-Ã?£15m.
  9. He posted this on here on 20th Nov http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=14807 He posted this 3 days ago: http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=120770 Seems to be a bit of an obsession.
  10. Haven't got a ticket. Presumably I'll be allocated one for the game after the split.
  11. I was disappointed with his pace. It wasn't that great. According to wiki he's played 4 times for the first team, so he doesn't appear to be doing that well.
  12. Copy and paste into Excel and see what row it's in. Saves counting.
  13. I'd say that we have better cover in central midfield than most other positions.
  14. They've scored 17 goals in their previous 6 SPL games. You've been a bit nit-picky, Craig.
  15. Spot on Frankie. Davis MOTM.
  16. I did. Danny's obviously miscounted.
  17. I'd go for the guy 220th on the list.
  18. Exactly. Just because he's playing well in the EPL and getting noticed doesn't mean that he's playing better. There's a big difference between playing well and playing better.
  19. I haven't seen anything to suggest that Cuellar has improved since leaving us.
  20. It's certainly good that the club are now in a position to offer Boyd a contract as the bank wouldn't allow them to do so until recently. If only the bank hadn't been putting a stop to new contracts then perhaps Boyd would have been tied up some time ago.
  21. Great title for the book. ....but as for the song.... Not one of the TB's best.
  22. Murray stated that the club was for sale more than 2 years ago, but it just got formally listed a couple of months ago. Nothing changed when it was listed, so i can't see anything changing if it comes off the list.
  23. If defensive central midfielder isn't McCulloch's best position then what is? Striker? Centre half? Left mid? Don't see it.
  24. You were replying to a post that did, and you didn't delete that part of the post, which certainly implied that you were referring to the songs, even if that was not your intention.
  25. I don't see the connection between the 2 songs and sectarianism. I know the press try and infer one where there isn't. It's just a shame that we do their job for them as well. I also don't see the relevance of the founders. Rangers are more than just a football club now. It has evolved into being an integral part of Scottish society, and arguably "Scotland's second greatest institution".
