Thanks Craig. Very much a change in style for Desmond. I wonder if fan pressure got to him or whether he felt that Celtic winning the league this season would put Rangers back 3 years. It was a big mistake not dioing it last season as it that would have put us back around 5 years (at least).

No, but they have definitely strengthened their team. The next few weeks are important as to the way that the title is going to go. We need to minimise the stupid points that we will drop.

If they win the title they'll have the cash to bring in another striker. However, next season will take care of itself. This season is far more important at this stage. . The McDonald deal financed the Keane deal. . The point is that we have no creative back-up for Davis. If Davis gets injured, would we play better with or without Mendes?
