No width, and we can't rely on our full-backs to deal with the whole of the wide areas in the park. There are plenty of wide players in the SPL that would have field days if we didn't play with left and right midfielders.

The whole thing was hilarious. Nicholas's body language was so obvious. He was desperately trying to turn his body as far away from McCann and White as he could, and his face was a pictue. Even Mrs Bluedell was pissing herself laughing at his expressions.

That's the way I see it. Can't blame the ref for sending him off.

I thought we should have had a penalty just before our disallowed goal. The Celtic player's feet were so high that Miller put his hands up instinctively to protect his face and the ball THEN hit his hand. It was either a penalty or a goal. Bougherra should never have been booked for his first challenge so I don't see why he should have been sent off.

The Radio Clyde phone was great as well. Two people phoned up to complain that Bougherra winked, and even Peter Martin had to remind them that it wasn't against the rules of the game.

Perhaps a clue that Novo will not be starting on Sunday? Broadfoot and Beasley need the match practice and may be contenders but Novo has had a bit of football recently and would not need the game.

Broadfoot made right back his own last season because his defensive performances were far superior to Whittaker's. However it's a difficult decision. Broadfoot has not been playing as well as last season and Whittaker offers a threat that few others in the team do. Tough one for Walt.

The reporting of the incident compared to that of Lennon's is quite incredible. lennon's was instantly a sectarian assault, whereas McGreogor's is an alleged assault, with no mention of the possibility of it being sectarian. Commentators are falling over themselves to suggest that McGregor leaves Rangers, including our "own" "Uncle Tom" Johnstone. So one of them gets assaulted it's sectarian and one of us gets assualted it's their own fault. It highlights the press for what they really are.

McGregor's injuries may take time to heal properly and while Rangers may risk him for an old firm game, it may not be in McGregor's (or Rangers) best interests to be joining the Scotland squad and only take part in limited training.
