  1. He should concentrate on learning how to jump for a ball.
  2. League titles with Rangers: Walter 7 out of 9 (and was cheated out of his 8th) Alex 2 out of 4. Nuff said.
  3. I was at that game. Great day.
  4. I guess it depends on who leaked it. If it was the club, then yes, you could be right. My view was that it was more likely to be his agent to try and prompt better offers from elsewhere, perhaps to act as a bargaining tool with Rangers. However I'd agree that it's strange that everyone seems to know the offer.
  5. I have no recollection of them but in my defence there was another signing during the previous month that still had my attention. Thanks for the post, Elfideldo. Most informative.
  6. When you are the majority shareholder and you want more and don't get them then, yes, it is quite startling.
  7. It is prime property, and would be a loss to the PPG portfolio. It is possibly one of the more readily sellable properties that they have, which may be the reason that it was picked. There must have been some restructuring of the MIH debt or there would be a lot more property requiring to be sold, but presumably Lloyds insisted on some level of repayment. Zappa, you need to remember that MIH were due to repay loans of £400m last year with no apparent cash to do so, so the likelihood is that the bank did take all of the cash.
  8. There was a period prior to the current facilty being agreed with the bank that it appeared that we may have to sell to meet the bank's requirements. However from what AJ has said, it seems that the bank did not get the directors to agree on the stringent cuts that were originally requested and a middle ground was negotiated, which resulted in the club now saying we do not need to sell. I'm not convinced there is a contradiction - only that the situation has evolved.
  9. Irrelevant article as it makes no reference to the business plan put in place. Murray's been saying the same thing for years anyway. It's strange that the "real chairman" was unable to get the directors he wanted onto the board. Perhaps this suggests he isn't the "real chairman".
  10. It's obviously a lot more than that, as has been explained by the Chairman and discussed numerous times on here.
  11. Perhaps the clubs, perhaps the SFA, but I don't think that the SPL as an organisation should be getting into it.
  12. And apparently that means that all your friends are calling for a boycott.......
  13. He's saying what I hear a lot of fans saying around Ibrox. Some are considering whether they will renew their season tickets next year. There's a huge jump between that and calls for a boycott.
  14. A better than average survey. Well worth taking part.
  15. So Edgar says something that a lot of Rangers fans are thinking, the Daily Record put a spin on it and a number of people fall for it. Keevins et al will be very happy that some fall for their misleading headlines.
  16. Broadfoot did, and we didn't hear this hoo-hah.
  17. In what way am I kidding myself on a bit? McGregor could not catch the ball because he was fouled. If a player is prevented from kicking a ball because someone knocks his leg away then it;s a foul. Likewise it's foul if a keeper is prevented from catching a ball because someone knocks his arm away. I genuinely don't see why we caught a break.
  18. If Boyd isn't offered a new contract due to the restictions placed on the club by the bank then obviously Boyd will be leaving the club, and that won't be down to Boyd.
  19. Perhaps that's because he's actually doing what his critics have been asking for, for the past couple of years.
  20. That's never been specified. What we have been told is that we have to work within the guidelines established by the business plan imposed by, sorry, agreed with the bank. That doesn't allow for us spending any cash on transfers, and allegedly gives us a little scope to offer Boyd a new contract, but it all depends on how much scope. Given that no contract has apparently been offered, it suggests that there currently is very little available and further cash may need to be freed up from somewhere.
  21. Perhaps the cash will be used to offer Boyd a new contract?
  22. Pat Nevin carefully shows how Fortune's arm knocks McGregor's arm, preventing him from catching the ball, but then says if he was the ref he would have allowed it to stand. No bias there then, Pat? Richard Gordon then says that th fact that Fortune was higher than McGregor meant that the goal should have stood. Very strange "analysis". They are so bitter that they can't bring themselves to say that the goal was disallowed correctly. Typical BBC Scotland.
  23. Ah OK. I stand corrected.
