watched a cuple of their games and the players looked disinterested and unmotivated. they should have a long hard look at themselves.

itl be a bloody disgrace if boyd is flogged off to Birningham. The guy is 100% commited to Rangers. hes not here for the money hes here for the gersey and that speaks volumes to me. but if walter decides to sell I would hold out for silly money, especially if eck is the buyer.

spot on juffery. i said in an earlier post that we should be building a team for the long term and if we can hold on to the likes of hutton then it can only be a good thing for the club. I doubt we will ever go out and spend big in the transfer market again. Our future lies in Murray park but it defeats the object when we punt the first bit of real talent to come throught it. Just hope SDM sees it that way.

i certainly hope he gets back to the standard he was showing before he got injured. if he does we will have the best two full backs in the country.

I have been impressed by whittaker over the last couple of weeks and expect him to cushion the blow if hutton leaves at the end of the season. The major factor keeping hutton here for the moment is his missus is expecting his second child in a month or two and he doesnt want to unsettle his family. That may change in the summer. but if he was 0ffered 20k+ a week to stay at Rangers i think he would probably stay for good.

alan hutton has knocked back a wopping 30k a week from spurs to stay at Rangers. The middle of the road English Premiership side upped their wages offer by another 10k a week in an attempt to get the Rangers wingback to change his mind but have failed for the second time. seems the boy is sticking to his word.

one thing about david murray is that he has made money all his life, and lots of it too. if this venture comes to fruition then i believe it will be a success.

expect the stadium name to be a sponsors name. generates more cash for the club. and lets face it (should this actually happen), when your wife or mother asks you where your going every other saturday the following words will roll out your lips without hesitation, "im goin tae Ibrox"! they can rename the new stadium what ever they like, it will always be Ibrox to me!

seems he thinks septic are one of the best teams in Europe! yeah skin another reefer fritz!:fish:

Mcgregor had such an easy day of it today. could have easily sat next to me with a pie and bovril for the second half. 6 Hutton another solid performance from the inform wingback. gave burk loads of support down the right flank. 7 whittaker Ive been this guys biggest critic since he came but i have to say that i have been impressed with his performances of late. put in a good shift today and gets pass marks. 7 weir usual stroll through the park for the vetran defender. no fuss. 7 cuellar no chance of anyone getting behind this guy today. solid tidy performance. 8 thompson had an indifferent first half and seemed to be a yard off pace but improved in the second half. 6 Hemdani when it comes to technical ability this guy is streets ahead of anyone in the spl. oozing class with every tackle and pass. a real standout today. man of the match. 9 ferguson far better game today from our captain. far more positive gameplay and got forward on a number of occasions. nice goal too. 7 naismith scored early on but drifted out of the game after the first twenty minutes. could have been subbed earlier. 6 cousin tried hard today but nothing came off for him. but the effort was there which was nice for a change. 6 Burke cracking display today having a hand in both goals. terrorised the united defence from start to finish and is fast becoming a regular in walters starting 11. just pipped for man off the match. 8 subs boyd missed a penalty late on but the keeper was so far off his line he almost caught boyds boot in his teeth! 5 novo allways trying but not enough time to shine. nice to see him back 6

Beyond economics: How Much Will Selling Alan Hutton Cost Us?
gisabeer replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Hutton hasnt knocked back Spurs because he wants to play for rangers, hes waiting on a call from ferguson . And if i was to a have a wild stab in the dark i would go on to say that a deal to move to manure in the foreseable future has probably been done behind everyones backs. The fact that we were very willing to sell him in the first place is a testament to the clubs lack of ambition on the park. But it also highlights the fact that we are still living in the shaddows of the advocaat era and his gross over spending. and until we free ourselves from the grissly past we will continue to sell our best players if the right offer/club comes in. Why? because our chairman believes we have to. I personally dont though. I believe the clubs future lies in keeping quality players like hutton and building a team for the long term. Its the only way forward in my opinion. Selling the family silver isnt the answer. But we will probably see a few huttons go through the doors at Ibrox before we can balance the bank books and start to plan for the long term again. -
moore got a start against spurs and missed two sitters. the name sebo comes to mind here. waste of money imo

when are the games in hand being played?

half a story is the same as no story at all. spill your guts.

in a word we were inept. not one pass mark tonight. very dissapointed to lose in such a manner.
-
that is correct. ive had it up a few times. picked my teams and scores at the weekend but never made the bookies and the fecker came in!
-
just the french press trying to unsettle us lads. hope it fires up cousin.
-
ive picked 3 games and chosen three possible results for each. chelsea v valencia 1-0,1-1, 2-1 marsielle v liverpool 1-0, 1-1, 2-1 real madrid v lazio 2-0, 2-1, 3-1 only one result per game can come up. 10p x 27 trebles. roughly 70 quid if it comes up. good wee fun bet.

smoken some weed tonight matey?

maybe his players have a drinking culture that he cant handle and his star player doesnt listen to his orders!
-
a very nervy 2-1 to us.

At the start of the campaign this year no one would have thought that we'd been in such a position in the champions league. But given where we are now ill be well dissapointed if we dont qualify. We are competing on both fronts but i do believe we could be playing a better standard of football with the squad weve got. Our form too has been pretty inconsistent over the course of the season so far. The 4 5 1 formation has been found to be suspect on an allarming scale on a few occasions. I am actually dissapointed with our position in the spl. Weve dropped points at places where we should be racking them up and could have had a pretty handsome lead over septic if we hadnt slipped up. But we are up there scrapping and there is plenty of scope for improvement.
