The fact that we do most of our transfer talk in the papers tells me there is very little chance of us bringing in any real quality. The new chairman talked the talk but it is now becoming more evident as the days go by that he isnt going to walk the walk. Dont know what whytes real game plan is but its clear he isnt going to be the new messiah we all craved during the murray decline. so baton down the hatches again folks and be prepared for another season on our knees. Yet again the fans are being asked to finance The club for very little return. The new board are banking on the blind loyalty of the fans and are taking everyone of us for a bunch of fools. I think it could be the year the support started voting with there feet.

If its not open yet the why have we been bidding for wallace and Goodwillie? and signed weir 'kerkhar and healy?????

given mccoists signings so far i can only assume someone has glued his arse to a seat in the canteen at murray park. I fear disappointment looms as far as the transfer market is concerned. were not acting like we have money to spend. and the discontent is growing amoungst the fans with the negativity emmitting from our club.

i dont think we have any money to buy players. no more than token gestures so far and weve already lost out on two players who would have been good additions to the squad. i think the likes of lee wallace will be as good as we get.

hes decent at best. not as good as id like between the sticks to be honest.

the deprodification of scotland is well under way and no one of any stature is standing up to be counted on the matter. there are plenty in the mhedia and in the world of politics chipping away at our country and heritage making us feel like second class citizens for being british and non catholic. If the likes of republican rosie and her pro catholic Irish chums arent careful the whole situation might blow up in everyones faces.

Im starting to get pissed off with the severe lack of transfer activity. There has been plenty of talk about how much McCoist will have to spend (12 mill allegedly) but so far we have only courted a bosman deal and nothing else. Training starts very shortly and the new season will be on us pretty soon and i have to say i expected a few faces to be in the door considering the early start to the season. The new owners have talked the talk. time they started walking the walk.

Whyte's blue-print for Rangers - Seven days and counting
gisabeer replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
mystery uncertainty and confusion. words that have been the norm for all bears for the past decade. Personally im fed up with AJ and his comments. If he has something to say then he should come right out and say it, not the half baked comments that add fuel to the fire. So we have a seven day wait to see what plans our new chairman has in store for our club. That shouldnt be a problem to any of us given the fact weve been waiting ten years for change. So im not particularly bothered......for the moment! -
Wales v scotland McGregor McCormack Adam All Played in the starting 11 with Hutton a key fixture in the team when fit. All came through murray park. Something missed in the way off article.

i was very puzzled by his 250 grand wage rise roughly six weeks before miller left for a pittance. it has always niggled me. greedy bastard. hope whyte takes him by the balls from an large height.

Lennon seems to forget that he stated at the start of last season that he would be in the faces of the SFA and match officials. and he did.

Im sorry but I hope Ally tells him where to go. Hes done shit all since he came and has done nothing to warrant a new contract.

Possible CL qualifying opponents for Scottish champions
gisabeer replied to calscot's topic in Rangers Chat
Do we have to play two qualifying rounds then? and are Celtic in the CL or Europa? -
i have always maintained that we could have played better for the most part under smith and i havent changed my views. There have been times when his over cautiousness have cost us dear. This season alone it cost us in the Uefa cup and place in the Scottish cup final. I was especially scathing after the scottish cup game against celtic. 2-1 up against 10 men at home and he gave his biggest rivals the freedom of ibrox. A game that will be with me for a very long time indeed.

Rangers should go the whole hog and ban the whole bbc citing the bias reporting up here in Scotland.

excellent post mate and i share your sentiments. I have been walters biggest critic due to the tactics he employed but i will take my hat off to him for what he has achieved. In the end i gave up my season book as i found the football on offer unwatchable and admit that i havent missed going to watch Rangers this season. I lost my passion for football over the last couple of years and cite the Uefa cup run in 2008 as the time when my interest started to wane. Far too often we were playing not to lose and for me that wasnt acceptable. But I acknowledge what Smith has done for the club . Bill struths words are ringing right through my head at the moment. He spoke of barren years that will test our will and that at some point they will come. And at the end we will emerge stronger. Walter Smith was the man who dragged us by the scruff of our necks out of an era that will serve as a reminder for all who contemplate complacency at Rangers Football club. And when others look through our History Smiths name will be held with as much regard as Bill struths. with that i have no doubt. They named a stand after Struth. I think they will have to name the stadium after smith.
