the main problem with smith is his choice in tactics. i have been his biggest critic due to his negativity and have always felt that we could have played better football with the players at his disposal. our manager in my eyes seems to have a great fear of losing that over rides his and our will to win. its no way to play football im afraid. and its the reason that the game on thursday wont be a sellout. we just arent worth the admission fee under smith. The one thing that we dont have under smith when we play is pride. I appreciate hes been around a while but i have always been of the mind that our manager has been on the receiving end of some very good fortune and circumstance. as for pride and dignity, i dont see either in our game play and its the first place i look for it. we were pretty average today. slack for the most part. The jelly man is a class act though and walter should settle on a partner for him. I would play diouf up front with him in a 4 4 2 formation. It would certainly make me more confident for the remainder of the season.

I think the psychological advantage gained by C****c after the 2-2 draw was a major factor in us losing on sunday. We should have taken up the opportunity to show our superiority instead of sitting back and taking a hiding.
