I certainly think smiths tactics have affected quite a few in the squad over the last two seasons. But i dont think we would miss mendes should we sell him. Davis, thompson and Edu will be the mainstay of our midfield in the seasons to come.

If the mhanks manage to qualify for the champions league proper it will have major implications on what we do as far as selling and buying players is concerned. Murray and co will be sitting with their fingers crossed that they dont qualify. we need every penny that is comming our way and if they dont make it then its a few million more for us. And we need it badly. Dont expect too much to happen in the transfer window till we know their fate. theres a lot riding on it. PS Ill be sitting with my fingers crossed too!

Sorry, thought i read them all ! Once the report has been produced how can we gauge the reaction of the chairman and the board? I certainly can disagree with anything ive read and am impressed with the quality and professionalism of all the articles but i fear the only response from our chairman will be "thanks for the report, well take your points on board" and never hear from them again. I hope steps are taken to ensure that dialogue is maintained by both parties as soon as the report is handed over.

Totally agree with that. They were physically bigger and stronger than us. At one point the left back was contentending for the ball with one of the black guys and he was shrugged off with the minunum of effort. Men against boys in most areas of the park.

Like the others an excellent article that addresses and combats the problems of our club. One thing i feel that hasnt been addressed though is the missmanagement on the park. Walter Smith has walked away from our financial disaster scot free. It was his sqaundering of the transfer funds before the cl qualifiers and his poor tactics and team selections that led us to being knocked out of the CL by a pub team. That resulted in the panic buying spree that have left us in the financial mess we are in now. Smith has played a very large part in our clubs current predicament and it should be acknowledged at the highest level in our club. It is the first step id take if i was responsible for moving the club forward.

it is ridiculous that anyone should even consider selling boyd. Strikers with his scoring record are very hard to come by and its not as if we can afford to run out and buy a replacement. Had we sold him in the summer it would have probably have cost us the title. I would add Beadsley to that list and naismith. Both have made very little inpact on the squad and should be moved on. Either ferguson or Mendes will leave. I personally would sell Mendes as i reckon we would get more cash for him. Which ever one leaves i doubt they will be missed. One player i cant make my mind up about is whittaker. some weeks he looks a very decent player and others he looks like a fish out of water. In the end i think it is this inconsistency that will see him move on. As for players coming in I dont think we really need many. A centre half is certainly required and a right back too. We have an abundace of midfielders and our strikers showed that they were all up for the job in the run in to the season. Everyone of them played a part which was very refreshing to see. One player i would give a chance to is Stevie Smith. The potential is still there and we should remember that he was actually a better prospect than Alan Hutton. Given the chance this boy could save us quite a few quid in the future. Hopefully we will see the likes of Aaron and Fleck come through in the new season too. We keep hearing about their potential but the will never realise it sitting on the bench.

I was was there before he was manager first time round and ill be there for the next manager. The only person that will be leaving is smith.
