I'm delighted to hear that. What about the news media - I've been out of the country for a while and all I see are reports that appear to point to a state of general anarchy in the Scottish game, without more than, at best, a cursory mention of celtic's role. They are being projected as perhaps something of a ringleader but by no means the singular malcontent we know them to be.

Craig just pm'd to say you should be fukking sacked if it's not. Edit - what is it with him?

I'm criticising no one. Nor pretending it's easy or not being attended to. I just didn't see any point continuing to post if the thread was going to end up in the bin. Congrats to all if the war has now been won.

Remember the coin hitting Hugh Dallas and the numerous pitch invasions? Remember how it was immediately re-spun as an OF problem? Now we have the BBC in particular wheeling out panel after panel of commentators equally determined to re-fashion refgate as a problem created by Scottish clubs acting collectively to put pressure on the refs. hardly anyone daring to name the club behind it all or to criticise the SFA for failing utterly to protect the game in Scotland. How do these filthy bastards never ever get confronted with their despicable behaviour?

Are we finally back up and running again? Can't be arsed posting if it's going to keep disappearing after a few hours. Hasn't this all been worthwhile!:disgusted:

Hope to be wrong but I can see us dropping points tomorrow. Poor recent form, Kilmarnock on a roll, depleted Rangers squad, too many eyes on the Man Utd game.

Oh ffs, nooooooooooooooooooooooo

Ffs, what spectacularly petty topic. Gersnet defends the honour of football stewards and weeps at racist injustice. You girls seriously need to get out more.

The original publicity-fest was pure indulgence by the RST, desperate to cultivate some credibility by announcing questions they knew well could never be answered. I just thought some of our occasional visitors from Dingwall Towers might have wanted to follow up on the OP that was tabled with such apparent piety. Or has this waste of time finally folded while no one was looking?

Can't say I have a problem with anything Jeff Winter says. Tbh, with 95% of the media lying through their teeth to contrive any opportunity to belittle Rangers, the fact that a few people like Jeff and Leggat speak up for us is way more important than the odd questionable comment, however rare they may be. Keep it up Jeff, most bears have no problem seeing the worth of what you write and say.

You have wonder how much clarification a supporters trust needs before deciding to take the support into it's confidence ..... have I missed it or has the RST decided to keep this particular clarification to itself.

Thank ye kindly, much better.

It started off as an inconvenience, now I'm getting increasingly pissed off at either having to scroll to the top of the page or work through the forum menu. No other forum I know makes you do this - get it sorted admin. Generally, forum updates are beneficial but this new format is a distinct step backwards. Not impressed.

Humbling ..... so proud.

It's no big deal but when you read the last post in one topic you are at the foot of the list of posts - what would be useful is a link to the list of topics right there, possibly uinstead of the "Quick Navigation" button. It's definitely more of an issue if you're using an iPad or similar where seaching for and hitting links is a little more tricky. Most other forums have solved this problem, the old Gersnet format solved it, so perhaps it's generally considered a reasonable idea.

Returning to the topic list after reading new posts is now more inconvenient - could this be improved to a single click?

Anyone else miss the days when it was about the football?
maineflyer replied to Norris Cole's topic in Rangers Chat
We should be universally grateful to Neil Lennon, whose lack of guile or composure is helping to turn a nation against his rotten club and supporters. Long may they raise their poppy banners and whine about their failures, so that everyone sees the reality of Celtic. -

There's nothing quiet about Irish republican politics, except perhaps in the British media. Don't be fooled by the apparent silence. And for fuxxake let's not encourage the pathetic doublespeak about "dissidents" - code for IRA terrorists who can't be called IRA terrorists because it would mean admitting the peace process has always just been a sham to mollify a gullible English audience. Again, Celtic has always had at its heart the bigoted dishonesty we're now seeing uncovered ..... it's nothing new, only more visible as confidence grows about their influence in our society. -

Celtic FC was born out of Irish republican politics and its partnership with catholic paranoia. It hasn't become embroiled in anything new, it's always been steeped in the same shit. All that's happened recently is that the mask has slipped a little further. -
I see a difficult game and hope we score early. Should win it though.

Now THAT would stop the bullshit.

I imagine he's got way too much on his mind already and these things are much better coming afterwards in any case but it would be nice to think someone somewhere is considering how to get Walter Smith on that knighthood shortlist when the time comes. Or will protocol prevent his elevation on the basis that the Bog Bawface didny get wan?

He can be sure of one thing .... a hell of a warm welcome back. :spl:
