  1. With him being demoted he's clearly out of favour, so it's highly unlikely.
  2. Nothing appears to be beyond this lot, but I'm sure they don't think they could get away with appointing Jig as our manager.
  3. There's virtually no chance of that happening mate.
  4. Don't joke about Jig becoming our manager FFS!
  5. At least it won't be Jim Sinclair!
  6. Fingers crossed that it's been mostly Bears buying up shares over the past couple of months because as you know mate, there's been millions upon millions of shares changing hands outwith the really big ones we've been told about like King & the 3 Bears.

    Welcome Thread

Welcome back mate and welcome to all of our other new or returning members!
  8. I thought it was pretty self-explanatory since we're talking about protests. If a group like Greenpeace or CND (just for the sake of example) attend a large scale protest which they didn't instigate and end up taking taking matters further themselves by storming a reception to unveil a banner and make their point, then they would almost certainly take responsibility for it themselves and not leave it open to interpretation or suspicion as to who did it. Their members are willing to take responsibility for their own personal actions so that there's no ambiguity about who did what and so that the overall cause isn't hampered by the actions of any individuals. The Club is in a serious situation here and I'd suggest that honest up-front martyrs would be preferable to anonymous wannabe hard-men who take actions then sit back and say 'it wiznae me'.
  9. Laughing about it is probably what the directors are doing.
  10. We're not talking about normal every day or normal every other Saturday occurrences though. If you take even just a fleeting glance at the history of serious protests the world over, then any genuine protestors worth their salt have the courage of their convictions and will happily take responsibility for their actions. From Greenpeace to anti-nuclear weapon and anti-war protesters, to G8 summit and anti-capitalist protesters, there's a common theme and it's that they have the bollocks not only to up the anti and take whatever actions they deem necessary, but they also have the courage to take responsibility for whatever they do. Tell me please, how is that sort of train of thought "hand-wringing"?
  11. A bunch of lads can't claim responsibility for barging into a reception and unfurling a wee banner because they're worried about the consequences of their actions? If they're worried about a stadium ban or football banning order due to their actions, then draconian laws or not, they should think twice about their actions in the first place.
  12. If a group of fans want to take their own actions and matters into their own hands outwith a main protest like what happened on Friday, then they should have the courage to take responsibility for their actions by putting their names or at least the name of their group to the actions.
  13. The current Rangers board were always going to stall on any EGM requisition no matter whether it came from Dave King or the Three Bears. Despite their official and public claims to the contrary, it seems very clear that the Rangers directors are completely biased towards & subservient to Mike Ashley. Dave King, the Three Bears and other like-minded parties are going to have to buy up even more shares, get total control and take the Club back by force.
  14. Well done to them and it's about time these guys got behind the fan initiatives.
  15. There was a lot of division previously, but recent events were bringing a lot of Bears together who'd previously disagreed. For example, I spoke to quite a few folk on Friday night who said they'd been supportive of giving Ashley a chance, but with the news about possibly giving him security over Ibrox & MP for a loan deal, they've now had enough. This stuff about the fans barging into the Argyle House reception is a total distraction and clearly causing unnecessary arguments amongst our fans. I sat on my arse for almost 3 hours trying to get home from Ibrox on Friday night and I'd wager there's folk on the forum here who spent almost double that sitting on their arses on the way home.
  16. There's one thing which is absolutely certain and it's that the events at the Argyle House reception on Friday night have caused more unnecessary division amongst our fans at a time when that's one of the very last things we needed. The fact that it's such a major diversion from the actions of the incumbent regime screams red flag to me, no matter who instigated it.
  17. You know I didn't say either of those things. If you read what I wrote again you'll see that all I did was point out the type of actions required for assault charges. I'm no judge and jury and neither are any of us here, so if people are brought up in court over the incident, then presumably justice will be served in one form or another.
  18. Don't all rush at once! Surely someone fancies writing a match preview for the League Cup Semi?
  19. The way I see it is this: If a nutcase breaks into someone's home here in Scotland and in front of witnesses batters them over the head repeatedly with a hammer fracturing their scull in the process they will most likely be brought up on an attempted murder charge but walk away free after pleading guilty to an aggravated assault charge. In some cases they will get a small fine and do some community service. What we're talking about here though, is a minor incident that was far less violent than what happens in pubs and outside them after pub closing time all over the country every single weekend. Such things would previously have been dealt with under a Breach of the Peace charge, but these days if it's football related it will most likely be dealt with under the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications Act. Your talk of assault charges is really far fetched because for any of those involved to end up being charged with (or pleading guilty to) assault, they would need to have stormed the reception with weapons and started battering people or at the very least thrown and landed some punches.
  20. Here's a wee snippet from an actual FULL shareholder list dated 10/11/14. I've highlighted Beaufort Nominees (aka GreenCo/BPH/Margarita/Easdale etc etc) and blocked out the surrounding names & addresses so I don't get into soapy bubble. http://i.imgur.com/2jnHRaj.png
  21. Who's Claudia Reyna rbr?
  22. Assault is a highly unlikely charge for barging past security into a reception area uninvited. The worst that any of those who barged in there without harming anyone are facing (if caught) is a Breach of the Peace charge or a charge under the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications Act.
