  1. We have to assume that a large chunk of the remaining proxies held by Easdale are basically a bunch of GreenCo's original 'investors' such as Glenmuir, Norne Anstalt, Putney Holdings, Eurovestech, Gorbon Limited, Asia Credit Corporation and Insight IM. Those companies originally got a combined total of about 6.5m shares and are probably still hidden behind the largest shareholder, Beaufort Nominees who as of a couple of months ago still held 18,391,569 shares, most of which are the ones Easdale holds the proxies for.
  2. Here we go..... The next few weeks of real and actual/factual news is almost certain to be diluted and maybe even dominated by agenda driven anti-King rhetoric.
  3. That's an interesting one! Here's another interesting one - I'm guessing it's just another 'mistake' from Paul Shackleton, but the Share Information page on the official RIFC 'investor relations' site was supposedly updated on 9 January and yet it somehow still lists Artemis as being a major shareholder! Check it out - http://www.rangersinternationalfootballclub.com/share-information
  4. I could easily be wrong regarding Miton, but I put down the numbers in post #41. Obviously these numbers are changing pretty quickly at the moment though!
  5. Thanks for pointing out the Cazenove one mate. Do you have a link to the announcement by any chance? Regarding Miton, I added them in at 800k shares because it appeared from looking at the numbers that they didn't actually sell their whole shareholding to Dave King. That calculation was based on what Artemis and R&M definitely sold to Dave King and subtracted from the total number of shares acquired by Dave King's company with the remainder being the number of shares sold to Dave King by Miton. If that's wrong or anyone has any other updated info, then please point it out!

All of the resolutions proposed in the previous EGM requisition (the proposed elections of Paul Murray, Malcolm Murray, Scot Murdoch & Alex Wilson) obtained around 30% support when they were eventually voted on at the 2013 AGM. Interestingly, Paul Murray got the largest number of votes at 31.7% which was roughly 2% more than any of the other guys. You do make a good point though because the ownership landscape has changed a lot since then and with the good guys now holding an absolute minimum of 35 to 40 percent of actual shareholdings they must be in with a MUCH better chance of success.
  7. It depends what you class as infiltrated in this case because the protest originally proposed by the Union of Fans was supposed to be purely an Edmiston Drive gathering to protest and to make a very clear and unequivocal point. What happened at the Argyle House entrance was not on the original agenda as far as we know, so my point is were the UoF or SoS behind that incident or was it planned and instigated by other people independent of those who instigated the main protest on Edmiston Drive.
  8. You must have misread or misunderstood me because I said I thought we should start a new thread for the rescheduled fixture when it comes around, but in the meantime I'll just close the thread for last night's game and keep it so that people can refer back to it to see what their original prediction was. Seems pretty straight forward and logical to me since people are saying scrap it, while others are saying they would keep their original prediction.

I really do hope that's the case because the Rangers men calling another EGM and losing their resolutions at the vote will not advance their cause one iota.
  10. Based on the responses I think the best thing to do is just close that thread and keep it, but start a new one for the rescheduled fixture when it comes around. That way anyone who wants to keep their prediction can just look back into the old thread and copy their prediction for last night's game into the new thread. Everyone cool with that?

  12. We'll wait and see what some of the other GPL players think. I'm happy to leave the thread as is or scrap it and start a new one. We'll just go with the majority view.
  13. That would not surprise me at all. Protests being infiltrated by paid rioters, agent provocateurs etc is a classic counter-protest tactic employed in countries all over the world. If the folk who broke into the reception were all genuine fans, then presumably we'll be hearing their names in news reports.
  14. With last night's game being called off we need to decide whether to keep the predictions thread with all of our predictions for the match or if we should just scrap it and start a new one a few days before the rescheduled match. Any thoughts?
  15. By all means discuss the valid pros & cons of both fan ownership initiatives, but please leave the bad-mouthing of either initiative at the door when you come on Gersnet. If you want to bad mouth BuyRangers or RangersFirst please do it elsewhere, not here.
  16. Disappointing, but well done to the RST for seeking legal advice so quickly and exploring legal options.

Well done Dave King and I hope you have the required level of support to see this through and win the EGM voting because we've had way too many false dawns in this life-sapping saga.
  18. I'll take a stab in the dark and guess that it was long after the disgruntled fans had left and been moved on by the plod.
  19. I might not get online later on before the game, so this is LAST CALL !!! Don't forget to post your predictions between now and kick-off later. Do it here - Predictions for Rangers v Hearts - SPFL Championship match 21 (GPL game 31)
  20. A lot of folk will be focused on the protest tonight mate, but I hope you sell some copies anyway, especially when it's for such good causes!
  21. Then there's the fact that the Sports Direct deal appears to barely even be worth 10% of what the JJB deal was in terms of retail/merchandise income.
  22. Don't forget to post your predictions between now and the 7:45pm kick-off tonight! Do it here - Predictions for Rangers v Hearts - SPFL Championship match 21 (GPL game 31)
  23. Done from coolk's original question including all responses.
